Thanks Joe for another awesome video!!!! I Love these!!! It makes me sad too at the deplorable condition of those records. Makes me wonder how someone could do that to a record album. Take care and keep these videos coming!!!!
Another fun store video! Was happy to see Ed out there shopping. Missed him during my last visit. I was dumbfounded why Joe had rat feces infested records in his store! You better wash your hands...that stuff can make you really, really sick. Nice job Joe!
You should do a mean mr Mayo private event at the record store and charge admission. Have each character of the show present a favorite lp and talk for five minutes about it.
A lot of Peter Allen albums in there. Just off the cuff, Peter Allen didn't start out as a showman dancing with the Rockettes. He was a very serious singer/songwriter on the fledgling Metromedia label (they signed him after he wrote a hit song, "Jennifer", for label mate Bobby Sherman). Allen's first two albums are hard to find, but worth the search. Very much in the early Elton/Billy Joel vein. I say this only because PA tends to get passed over and a lot of people are missing out on some incredibly rich music.
Bay City Rollers were actually good musicians and songwriters. Their American image was manufactured for the teen market, and that was both boon and bane. It eventually did them in, but their early albums are very much in keeping with the Sweet. Now their later albums, with a name change to the Rollers, are a lot more like Cheap Trick. Check out "Elevator" sometime, it's very jaded and cynical but still has great pop hooks.
smfcpthowdy - You know, this has happened several times at the record store and also at the Fest For Beatles Fans, too. It's a lot of fun to meet people who have enjoyed my videos. It feels a bit odd too in a way, when people want to take photos with you - but it's great.
Always like the record store vids u do....was it my imagination or did u do another one in last day or 2,went to look at it and said taken down..shame.....anyways ugh I can relate to the crappy records that the one store I go to gets mold yes..animal feces...u win never saw any with that thank God.Although...there is a story going back to the 80s where I came across well.....hundreds if not a thousand R&B and early rock 78s of what I could see...in a barn ....not sure why there was a sewage hose/pipe near there...even though was not fresh thank God still..you cant get that stuff off ever..and it was sad cuz I peeked with gloves and saw a Elvis Sun for example...sad.Have a great week Joe
I'd probably drive 3 hours to a store if they had nice UK pressings, Imports or boots. That Beatles vinyl in the crate on the floor........without question........lol!
In that batch, a first state Butcher would have been worse looking than a poorly peeled copy! What would a very rare Beatles record in that kind of condition actually be worth? Did he have a copy of "The Animals Greatest Feces" in that lot? I'm looking for a mono copy......LOL!
oh wow the white album , yikes what happened to it , at least that person keeps his records very well , ya I never seen a records like that and hope I never do again wow , how come when he was cleaning the records , it looked like you were holding your wallet up near the mirror , those records look like they were taken from the litter box bin , I,d be embarrassed to take my records in if they looked like that , just saying, ,, hey Don what ya know , maybe there should be a drive thru record store ,
The folks from Pennsylvania seem nice. Always good to see friendly people.
kiolasmash550 At least not Randy Stair!
great fun video joe at the record store! love seeing the whole crew at the store, especially don who I always get a kick out of! rob
I knew The Beatles made a SECOND album, but I didn't know they made a TURD album.
Wow ! This video just pop up on my feed, I notice Record shop owner gad long hair 3 years ago. Trippy...
That might have been mice or squirrels that chewed through record album covers or posters.

Richard White - Thanks for your support, Richard.

Mathew Street - Oh yeah, Matt ... you can bet I washed by hands right after! It's been said that this is termite damage, but I'm not sure.

OMG...Those records. I was stupified they were not immediately thrown out. Hahahaha
Very cool
I want to be as optimistic as the guy who thought they would buy those moldy records.
I can't believe you says my name, that Elvis record made me happy 😄😄
Melissa Ordonez - You come to mind almost any time I notice Elvis at the store - I know you're a big fan of Elvis.
This is a day out with Joe .
You’re a celeb, Joe.
Here’s an idea. Live chat featuring Don. Not from your place of course.
George Alexander - I kind of talked to him about it but he isn't into it.
You must have felt like a celebrity, that was pretty cool

Mayo meets the fans.....!
Love it when Don is on.
I like the Bob Newhart comedy Lps
Looks like termite damage on those rekkids!

Psyko'sPlatters - Thanks for checking in. Always doing re-edits and tweaks, so sometimes vids get put on a shelf temporarily.

Just imagine if there was a paste over Butcher or rare VJ LP's in that trashed batch!
Steve Derda - Or even worse, a first state 1966 Butcher that had never been pasted over!

Those records look like they where outside for 10 years.
1:24 "Pour vous" :)
2:27
9:59 Reminded me of your Holy Grail Joe!
what is the name of the elvis album on yellow vinyl ?
Elvis...A Canadian Tribute
ohh are those apple lps trashed like that?
jeff kendall - I suppose Apples are for eating.
Records with Animal Feces are ultra rare!
2003Cpayne - You bet they are. You just don't see them every day.
Animal poo on the record😂😂
I'd call dss on anyone that brought in records in that condition.
Do a video of the basement
Adam Kirk - I've asked, but the owner won't allow that.
As a record store owner, folks would be so intrigued to visit my back room, warehouse and my vault. Have you visited the basement?
Whoa sadness Joe
If i were you and to any of the guys who touched the Records I’d wash my hands with hot water just saying
DarkHorse17 - Glad I thought of that, and did so right away.
Is Cory naturally that gray? Nice guy though:-)
+Ihy744ppp ... I'm at the store right now showing this to Corey, who responds as follows: "No, I actually dye my hair gray intentionally."
Ah ok:-)

BMX seeker I saw all those ruined Beatle records and all I could think was "I wonder what the label is?"
I wonder where that guy kept his records in the cellar , how sad ,
BMX seeker I'm guessing in the sump pump
Onteo - If it was a termites infestation, they would have eaten th epaper labels and anything paper - but not the vinyl.
