I'm missing a playset of beetrooper scout buggy & sting lancer so I'm trying to make a different build for battlewasp beetrooper deck. Mine's a little more on the battlewasp side of things & i'm experimenting with parasite paranoid, metamorphosed insect queen & cocoon of ultra evolution. Just to see if it helps the deck out.
@Stephen Tibbens I am also missing some cards from this deck profile, mainly 1 copy of sting lancer and contact C, so like you I’ll probably do some twists and experimenting with it as well

Been wanting to build beetrooper since it was first announced in the dawn of magisty set, and i can't wait to see what it brings to the table when it gets new support
Isn't contact C pretty much giving your opponent a free link material? They can use it and other monsters for their generic link summon like Knightmares or Apollusa or anything really, no? Or do they have to first use only contact C before doing anything else or they can use it alongside other materials?
You chain it to things like shaddoll fusion so they don’t benefit from grave effects. Yes they can unfortunately link it away, but there aren’t a lot of link 1 monsters that can be played off contact c, so it kinda forces your opponent to change their line of play.
@@Chris-si8th I think I got them confused. I think contact is really only good in xenophobic decks that have to use specific monsters for materials. I guess it can be a little awkward for decks like prank kids if dropped at the right time, but I don’t fully understand the hype behind it myself.
@@Regigigas-ny2rd you drop contact for prank kids on normal summon so they need 2 other prank kids monster+a fusion card to play so he need a 4 card kombo to Play and usually they dont have it

This deck is a brick city. 3 sting ( max. 2) 3 retaliating (max.1) 2 contect ( max.1) 2 aztekiped (max.1 ) . No primitive no ants no ready fusion and no go second cards like imperm droplet or ht. Seems like brick city go first and a 100% lose go second. And drnm isnz gooad against the meta. Drytron has 2 monster negate and destroy wich they searched tri has ht Revolte after this prank kids pop you field before you can activate it and many other decks even dont care about drnm. I hope you work on you list to make it more competetive and playable.
The deck still needs it's ratios tested but believe it or not Retaliating is a play starter. The worst one but still a starter. Not bad ratio ideas tbh.
@@YourKingSkeletor yeah but there arent enough extenders for my opinion. retaliating as meta call ht to 3 is hard in the main deck and i prefer cards for go second and first like droplet and imperm retaliating is also hard to play when its on field you banish your counter trap wich would set it every turn by it self

Battlewasp Armageddon!!! I got that card from a friend of mine after he had seen me play an Insect deck - its effect is AMAZING!!!
Good to see one not running Kwagar Hercules. I still think there's a more optimized version of this deck that runs less monsters.
I mean, Kwagar is great for extending... but costs a ton to buy.

@@h3llg3ar Yeah. Good cards but not cheap. Also, scalpers trying to get $200 for heavily damaged rares now. Finding it for less isn't guaranteed.

You should cut retaliating to 2. Contact to 1. And bump gokipole to 2 and throw in a vanilla. The summon+pop in 1 effect is actually really fire.

@@Chris-si8th I mean, there are plenty of extenders but they're pretty much all Battle Wasps. This build is hit or miss though.
