Can we take a second to thank not only Ollie but the customers he looks after and other worker on jobs that are happy to be part of his videos? It’s great that he takes the time to make these videos and edit them but unspoken thanks for those customers who are happy for him to film their property and are happy for him to film the work he’s doing!
WOW!!!!! Each one of your jobs present their own challenge. I couldn't believe that you were able to salvage that pipe with such a huge amount of roots in it, but you did. Also liked your demonstration of how the water broke up that giant clump of roots and reduced it to sticks.
Supervising a fully trained and experienced tradesman is the duty of every Australian....we call it ...helping......I personally have supervised electricians plumbers fire brigades and the constabulary ,it’s also called ,keep the bastards honest!
Love all your videos Ollie! I’m a fellow drain addict blasting drains here in the USA. I’d love to meet up and clear drains together one day... me you and ratty
Doubled your subscribers in 2 months wow!, amazing what people isolated in their houses will watch. Great Job Ollie, always a pleasure to watch your cheerful attitude to a sometimes messy job!
Haha, that's insane roots like all the gutters I clean out. They always have massive roots growing in the downspouts. All good as usual! No corn for ratty tho lol
Hi! just wanted to drop in and say hello. A few days ago I finished binge watching every one of your videos in order (yeah, I have time on my hands) and love them all. My hubby (also a subscriber) wants me to pass on that we call your videos our breakfast television! lol Stay safe and thank you for the great entertainment. (waves to Ratty)
Hey Ollie when you pulled the double barrel out I knew you had a tough job ahead of you and that pipeline gave you a run for your money but I knew you had everything under control so with that being said whats next for Drain Addict keep up the good work and see you in the next video 🤔💪👍all good 😉
I would love to see a van organisation and tidy up video hahahahaha I think that would be satisfying too hahahaha 🤣 I really love these videos, especially the root ones ☺️
I thought perhaps the jetter met it's match. Not quite. That is an amazing piece of engineering. Possibly the best tool to unclog a drain. Thank you for sharing Ollie.
Ollie, I love the great organizational method of the van you have! I bet you know where everything is in there! Also, the genny didn't sound so good too! Maybe time for a new one to keep blasting turds and corn!!!
When I worked plumbing, we call them sewer rats. 😂 You'll be amazed at how far down roots will grow to reach moisture, because that's what they do, they grow towards wherever there's water/moisture.
Hey man, your work means a lot to people's health. My respect for your commitment to your community. A fan from Brazil. 🇧🇷🇧🇷 Always make sure to be safe and healthy too.
Yup hes made a vid on that and hes brought us with to the shop where he buys all his equipment from...look back a few months you'll find it...quite interesting i thought
I’ve watched this video a few times now I truly believe Ollie with your skills you could have cleared that from the street to the dog area you are good
Here in the U.S., we had Roto Rooter. They cleaned out the roots (thus the name Rooter) out of the clay waste line only for them to grow back in again. Now you know how the company did so well. Cast and clay pipes were replaced by PVC. Tree roots grow around them instead of through them. Interesting video!
For a job like this the ONLY one you could call is Ollie!! Professional, knows what he is doing and gets the job done ALWAYS! My Drain Hero! Thanks for the vid Ollie! You should wear a cape like a true hero does hahahaha!
When you were putting on your demonstration of the gurney I could see the DB on the ground watching it all getting very pissed off he wasn’t the center of attention. Lol Bravo Ollie! 👏
Now that's what I call a root canal... lmfao!!! Wowsers, what a mess of roots!! Almost looked like what my plumber ground out of my cellar drain pipes. Have a safe and great week!!!!
Weird seeing tile still used. Here I usually see PVC, tile and rarely copper are seen on old homes from before the 70s. Jetters also aren't common here, you see alot of cable snakes.
Australian customers seem so chill! I could never imagine through dirt straight on the grass and not getting a complaint lmao keep up the hard work brother plumb on

I never knew I would be addicted to drain unlocking videos..
Such a phenomena occurs only to those with refined tastes
bhahahaaa... so am I bro :D
Me to
The ******* architect did not account for this. Australia is clogged.
Its like watching dr pimple popper, you just gotta watch till its all out. bahahahahhah
So what ever gasoline splashed in the van, is probably a welcomed smell compared to everyday .👍👍👍👍👍
I was thinking the same thing. haha
@John C yes.
D. I. D homing pigeons
How long you reckon you guna be ? At 150 dollar an hour 🤣
@John C or organising the van?
It's creepy how it started out looking like alien tentacles or finger bones sticking out of the pipe.
That says a lot after noticing your profile pic 😂
Was looking to see who else noticed that. 3rd comment down! lol
Same with cutting through the big bundle of roots... but leg bones.
@@mc-sp8zr 😃
You are not wrong alien or other sci fi / horror flick would have needed CGI. just call DA much cheaper lol
ya know i can't look at a single kernel of corn with out thinking of ratty. Thanks for that.
Glad I am not the only one! I even say it when the wife is around..."Corrrrrrrrrn"
@@hitman748 jajajajaja me too
had corn earlier today and about to have more with my late dinner.. lol
Lol to funny
i'm experiencing an everyday fail "on a count o' three" for the end of the stay at home law, since the very beginning !
Roots: Exist
Double barrel: I'm about to end this tree's whole career
Ian Waweru haha I was just thinking that
book, bap, boodedydootdat, blam, POW
That garden even though dug up looked so perfect, then Ollie and his double barrel hit it! Ollie why do you make such a mess 😂 great video.
Trees: Nooo you can't just cut our roots they're thicker than rebar and made of lignin and cellulose
Ollie: haha DB root ranger go brrrrrr
😂
Zoey 6
Underrated comment 😂
Thanks to DA, I finally found my roots in Australia. Best channel on UA-cam! Cheers from Florida.

Ratty says: That's getting to the root of the problem Ollie.
Only after a tree-mendous effort though...
Ratty is the Indiana Jones of drain unblockers
I appreciated that you had good gear but to see a plumber call you, you have elevated to the next level, Hail to you....
I just got a pizza for dinner so of COURSE I'm going to sit down and watch an Australian man blast open a drainage pipe
😋❤ 🍕
Any corn on your pizza for ratty?😂
Same here brother!

The plumber's plumber once again!
A new video! Double barrel! My day is complete. Thanks Ollie!
That would drive me crazy. People standing over me while I'm working.
It drives me crazy watching it. Especially with all the questioning. Let him do what you’re paying him for.
But judging by his YT fame it’s probably expected considering just how interesting it is I mean hell we are all watching 😂
Supervising. PITA for sure

@@emilyojeda9440 There is a way of making them leave. Just direct the splatter toward them.
Meanwhile the fella that was sitting inside on the dunny just got blasted through the roof and landed 4 blocks away...
Interesting
With some serious "rear-end" damage...

Double Barrel
Ollie... I think that is the first time I have seen you run out of petrol.... That double barrel must drink a lot.... 👍 All Good in the end though...
When that VTEC kicked in
He must’ve numbered his grass that was taken up. I have never seen a trench dug so perfect.
I was thinking the same thing. He's the Australian Hank Hill.
You must live in a place with rocky clay mixed with bolders like me
Lmfao I used to replace sewers and a trench has never looked better
Just got home from a girls night out. Curled up in a chair, unwinding with a Drain Addict video. 👌
The legend that is the "double barrel". No roots, No Prisoners!!! All good Olly!!
No corn and Ratty just skips out on the job, what a bum!

Can we appreciate how when he threw down the root it lined up perfectly with the other one he’s basically A magician
Haha, that's insane roots like all the gutters I clean out. They always have massive roots growing in the downspouts. All good as usual! No corn for ratty tho lol
Oliver, that was like watching spaghetti being born!
You Know me more like a animal with a heavy worm burden who has just been given a dose of dewormer the night before!
Single barrel gets the job done, double barrel gets the credit...
You know it’s about to get real when the double barrel comes out
Its going to cause a seismic ethtqwak

Drain Addict vs roots. Never a doubt, no contest. I enjoyed the root cutting demo. It looked like you were going through a leg. All good.
I loved the demo on the big plug. I never knew what different nozzles could do.
You earned your money on this job I, I hope you charged plenty 👍
Starting with the double barrel? That's what dreams are made of.
Damn that was some solid roots there.

When I worked plumbing, we call them sewer rats. 😂 You'll be amazed at how far down roots will grow to reach moisture, because that's what they do, they grow towards wherever there's water/moisture.
And all the sewerage just feeds them and they grow even quicker
Just love that Kookaburra. Don't get more "Genuine Ocker" than that Mate.
For some reason, this was absolutely fascinating...
I just wanted to pull on those tree roots so bad...
Those are some fine specimens they got out there.
Also thanks for the doube barrel wash at the end! really was needed
Those were some helluva big ass roots. Tough job. 💚💚

You should do a van tour. One day when you have time empty it and show is the magic tools of the trade. Im always trying to see what is in there...
He has a video on that.

"Ollie, did you pick up the kids from school today like I asked you to?"
"Yea."

Aww yeah, double barrel time
