I feel embarrassed for the actor having to say, "The Sea put her in my path and the Sea is always right." What is it supposed to mean?! They would've needed to establish that the sea, or a god or goddess of the sea, has some kind of powers in order for this to make any sense. Just picture a bunch of grown-up adults sitting around the table in the writing room all nodding approval at this incredibly ridiculous line. Meanwhile we have witty UA-camrs who can come up with a line like Gandalf says at the end. It almost made me spit out my drink! 🤣🤣🤣
I think it would of been better if they said something like; The Sea is very powerful, it blesses us and many things in Numenor, and it brought her to us...... Something along those lines.
you dont get it, the sea is always right is about how do you park a boat in the marina: the port side (aka NOT THE SEA) is on the left, while the starboard (AKA the sea) is always right.
Geography Exam. 1. The Caribbean ___ 2. According to legend, what are there seven of on Earth? 3. In 1823 Scottish sailor James Weddell discovered a type of what thing which now bears his name? 4. The Aral, Irish, and Red are all types of what?
Was about to go to sleep. Then discovered this channel. Have to watch them all again.

Totally agree. It's such horse-shite. I couldn't believe when I heard it, I'm like.... "WHAT?"
@@TallCottonWood5262 ah yes, it helps us remember that this is the story Tolkien never wrote. 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe it's supposed to this divine twist when Numenor gets sacked by the sea. I guess it was right 😂

Is "the sea is always right" the dumbest thing ever written for a TV show?
Game of Thrones season 8 was WAY worse
@@qcrew2938 lets say its a draw
@@qcrew2938 GoT without Martin's writing is almost as bad as LoTR without Tolkien's.
Yes
No. There was even worse bullshit on TV. J.J.Abrams' LOST : "The island brought us here"
Physicist: So does light travel as particles or ... ?

Physicist: Ahh, I sea!
My God, that's brilliant!
