Recently, they found a staff duplication glitch on BO3 where you can skip the step where you place in the staffs in the feet. During that trio cycle, one of them was throwing a g strike while another went in the foot to press the button. That’s why they were able to move on to the zombie blood step and fists so fast.

It was definitely one of if not my favorite zombies map (but haven’t played them all), so elaborate, put together, unique and fun, and good atmosphere. Loved the staff concept and did the easter egg once or twice. Definitely took us 10 times as long but got it done. I couldn’t imagine watching this if the only zombies map i’ve played was die maschine or something, it would boggle my mind and even having done this before this is still blowing my mind! this map is insane and a hell of a playthrough, good times.

The best part about orgins was playing with your brothers or friends on the same screen on the 360. We would constantly get stepped on by the robots at 2am because none of us had headphones and we were supposed to be asleep 🤣
Never played zombies until a few months after cold war came out, started playing bo3 with my friend, died at origins, my thoughts on these guys is that they are amazing, well coordinated, and have (maybe) good luck

There is a new fire staff glitch and it is allowed to be used in the speedrun I discovered it a few months back and talked with the admin in the discord, community voted and got approved! Gregfps has a video on it.
As a player who is decently new to the Easter egg community, I have only completed two, the DE easter egg and Die Machine EE. I've never tried an origins easter egg, so throughout this video I was absolutely amazed, but at the same time didn't know what I was amazed by lol.
Generators dont need to be on for bo3 I thought. Also you should definitely check out the BO2 4 player speed run. Its got some Shadows of Evil style shortcuts. Do it for the content!

For people who acually dont know you can skip the placing staff step in bo3 origins by letting the fire staff person put the staff back in excavation and everyone picking it up at the same exact time, the game will glitch and give all four the fire staff then you put all the fire staffs in the podium and it will count as 4
What you call “the biggest rng gap” does not exist in four man. This is because someone can wait for each robot to make sure that the fourth person can wait with g strikes, because the thrower does not have to press the button, meaning that it does not matter which robin it spawns in.
So what I’m thinking happened is they got lucky with the rng triple robot and maybe that allowed them to skip the ascend from darkness step to place all 4 staffs to get the unlimited triple robot

Sure, speedruns optimisations are awesome just because it's as fast as possible but the gobblegums just make things that could be really interesting pretty damn trivial. To be honest, it's mainly the idea that you can buy gobblegums that still frustrates me when thinking of speedruns. I'm not denying the skills these guys have at all, I just think an easter egg without gobblegums is way more interesting.

Cold War zombies is the first zombies I've completed the easter egg in and origins looks like is 400x harder than die machine.
That’s because Die Maschine is easily the easiest easter egg compared to every previous Treyarch map.
