I have cream cheese from last month batch. Shall I use the same if it didn't catch fungus?
After opening the cream cheese, how long can we use it? ( when refrigerated) because I could just use 25 percent and rest is stored.
Yes if it hasn't gone bad, you can totally use it! Storage instructions are usually given on the packaging.

One ques: I baked them as per the given timing, cooled them completely & packed in an airtight box but they turned soggy the next day. How to prevent that?
Hi! Since these cookies don't have any preservatives, they're subject to climate. So if it was raining or is humid, they will turn soft. One way is, after the baking time is over, dry the cookies in a low oven (like 130 or 140°C) for 15 minutes or so, that way it will completely dehydrate. Cool them, and vacuum pack them in air tight containers.

Hi! Cream cheese would be the best. But if you cannot find it right now, make a mixture of equal parts paneer and thick cream (just the fat, no water) in the mixi. And use it as a replacement for cream cheese in this recipe.
Hi Smriti... I hve already tried this recipe and planning to make again but I want to substitute wheat flour with maida Is it advisable??? Will it taste good??
Taste will be different than All Purpose Flour, but it will still be delicious. I suggest you increase the butter a bit.

I made this today. The taste was good. But the texture was crispy not fudgy. I baked at 180°C for 18 minutes. How to know when the cookie is ready?
Bake for lesser time for it to be fudgy.
