No music, just bike sounds. I've been sitting on this footage since spring and I never accumulated enough for an edit. It's starting to feel dated so here it is!
The mtb content is great and so is this, smooth as always, even if it was a while ago. The raw sound is freaking awesome by the way, not taking away from the music edits but this feels like some of the silent biking mtb clips in that it's just what you hear as a rider and it is great!
We do a lot of the same tricks. Other than myself you are the only guy I’ve seen do those nose picks while setting your back wheel on stuff. The one at the park is rad. Also using the rail at the end of the video. Dope.
Love the DJ trials /street riding. You got me to believe in this and its one of the best things i have ever done was riding trials /street on a DJ! Thanks for your videos please do more! And some more trials stuff on the DJ. P.s what disc would you recommend which actually lock for trials stuff on the DJ?
Yes I have! Mostly because it’s easier to cruise around town on. I also like skateparks a lot more on it. I’ll get back on some rocks and the trials bike soon though!
Hello. How much time does it take you to adapt to a different bike geometry? Personally it feels bad when i change bike after a few rides. Dj feels so short after trials bike, street trials feels soo long and ugly after dj bike e.t.c.. Endless cycle. Sometimes it feels like it's better to have only one bike.
It takes me one full ride to adapt between the dj and the trials bike. I take it slow and do a bunch of basics usually. I love moving between bikes because it makes moves feel new again :) After a few rides I’m 100% comfy. The mountain bike feels so different that it doesn’t require an adaption period.
Nice lines. A joy to watch.
I absolutely loved your riding style! I'm glad I clicked on this, can't wait to see more from you!
He’s back with the street trials!!!
Love all the slides and tech jibs, its trials freeride!
Thanks James, that was awesome. love the rear slider moves in the skate park and the epic rear spin at 1:55, so good.

I was waiting patiently for you to ride that bike again 😀 it was worth it 🎉
Smoooooth as always..makes me wanna go ride...
Makes me wanna go ride too!
I’m clearly not alone in preferring my trials’d DJ over my street-trials bike when freeriding around town. BB height makes everything nicer

A pleasure to watch 🫶
Slightly longer stem and the bars tilted forwards, I bet it feels a little cramped compared to the comp bike?
Yeah it does! It is terrible on the back wheel so that is why I do a lot of 2-wheeled stuff on it :)
So smooth and creative! Have you been riding this over the comp bike lately? I imagine they are not easy to switch between??
Yes I have! Mostly because it’s easier to cruise around town on. I also like skateparks a lot more on it. I’ll get back on some rocks and the trials bike soon though!

what chain tensioner is that?
Single sided trial-tech tensioner. Not sure if it’s made anymore…
