At my dentist I have to pay a premium fee. Ex. Had xrays and check up. They billed Sunlife $231.33 and I had to pay a premium of $53.67. My income level is Canada disability pension. Well below poverty line. Also to note, my understanding is you have to have been approved for the Federal disability tax credit in order to apply and qualify for the Federal dental program for people with disabilities.

I am on disability benefits in BC and have needed dentures for 5 Years. My income is under 20,000$ and BC pays $1500 towards the cost of $4000+ for dentures . Ive been told between provincial federal government they will be covered .
