I love this!! I’m working on the poncho with sleeves. Almost finished with the second panel. I like the edging on this cape. I might have to add to the sides of the poncho.
Lovely pattern Sylvia, great job❣️💐 I wonder if working it in raglan style could also work, from the top down so there’s not all the stitching together? I’ve been watching Hercule Poirot and it’s during the Art Deco era with its fashion, really enjoying it ❣️
I think raglan style would result in round shoulders. I like the square shoulders that this created. When I was a teen in the 70's I sewed shoulder pads into my clothes trying to create the 40's look. Way ahead of the 80's shoulder pads. LOL. The art deco era would have been the flapper style right?

Elegant...love the design!!! Imagining a sports weight fiber for this artistry.😊
Yes, sport weight would certainly work as well. Thank you for watching!
Love Caron simply soft. Yhat style is great.
It’s a great yarn! I’m glad you like the style!
This would be great for my friend in a wheelchair in a Personal Care Center
Great idea. This would absolutely work. Thank you for watching.

Nice idea! Let us know how it works with the border.
Beautiful 😍 pattern 🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶
I'm so happy you like it!
I love this pattern.....but it looks so stiff. Would love to see this in a more lacy open drapey stitch ♥
This is not at all stiff. I take great care to choose yarns that drape beautifully. I'm glad you like the design.
I know what you mean , Maybe with a larger hook !!! Stitch will be more loose 😉
I love this pattern. What size hook did you use..
I'm glad you like this!. 5 mm hook.
Lovely pattern Sylvia, great job❣️💐

Bonjour Sylvia
J'aime beaucoup cette cape. Par contre je n'ai pas le sous titrage en français dans ce tuto. Est-ce normal ?
UA-cam is now adding "dubbed" audio automatically so I didn't do the captions. If it's not working I'll go ahead and add the French captions.
