Omg, first of all, wishing you a very speedy recovery. I had had an ovarian cyst in the past as well but had it removed. Lots of back pain though before the surgery. That's actually how they found it... Apparently, ovarian cysts can often interact with the nerves in our spine/back (not sure) and cause a lot of back pain. I hope you are past that because it could really be unbearable sometimes... And secondly, your comment also resonated with me so much because Lauren has exactly the same effect on me. Whenever I'm feeling down or just don't know what to watch, I'll put one of her videos in the background... Her voice is so soothing, calming, and relaxing at the same time... That's not to say, of course, that I don't watch her videos when I'm ok... 😂 It's so comforting to know that we can find some sort of peace on here during those time when we really need it... ❤

I got out of bed for a little while this morning and then decided to get back in bed to see if I could get some sleep finally. Wow epic video - thank you:) I'm kind of surprised you don't have the Sydney Grace cream shadows - they come in small tubes, have some gorgeous colours and dry down perfectly - also they're great bases for other shadows if you prefer to use them that way:)
i really enjoy the discussion in my brain that your current declutter policy has brought forth. because honestly, at first, i was kind of iffy about it - mostly just because of the trauma of those gigantic wasteful 2016 makeup collections that i personally found really overwhelming and brought me to appreciate and enjoy declutters in the first place. but i realize now that - not to sound pretentious or anything - the idea of keeping things you might use later is very much so in the spirit of "reuse" when it comes to sustainability. the best thing one can do is to not buy new things, and keeping items - even, or especially when they do not have a specific purpose or are in use at the moment - is genuinely the best thing to do. also, i will never stop trusting your recommendation for sparklies. because something about the way you swatch and describe them always is so precise and accessible to me EDIT: ooooh, if you ever want a reccomendation for locking down stick shadows (even though it is not quite in the spirit of one and done), i recently got the glossgods eye shadow base. you only need the tiniest bit of product and thus far it has locked down absolutely anything i have put on top, no matter how much it would crease without. it has been my little magic tool

Just in case you want to move more shadows around across brands: the Menagerie palettes with square pans are also perfect for fitting Lethal Cosmetics shadows! So, when rearranging Violet Ink and the others, you can also use Theresa’s palette and the other two magnetic Lethal ones you have!
This is incredibly relaxing, I loved it! Also for the Salt pans, Sephora sells very inexpensive Make Up Forever $2 single magnetic compacts and $4 duo magnetic compacts that fit them very well!
Ok, so really enjoyed seeing good ole moon flesh again - like an old friend! I got out of the shower, doing my skincare and getting ready for bed but I'm at the single sparkly eyeshadows section and now just want to put shiny things all over me! I love this attitude to decluttering, of I'm not sure so I'm going to use it and find out, rather than I'm not sure so it's going, or its old so it's going. So much more relatable, and that's how I found some faves - by not being sure and telling myself to use it a few different ways to find out how I really feel about something. I do it with my clothes too and have rediscovered items I now wear in different ways and stop me hankering after new pieces as much

You could try the makeup by Mario cream bronzer in light medium. I LOVE the tone on fair skin. I tried the light shade and just prefer the light medium. I also adore the westman atelier contour stick in biscuit. But it’s a splurge. Even though it’s contour it’s got enough warmth I can use it as a bronzer. For powder I recommend the Milani silky matte in shade 2 (it’s matte but truly a silky buttery matte), Clinique solar pop, and tarte park ave princess (luminous formula), and L’Oréal lumi bronzer in light.
Starting to watch at 11pm, carry on watching when I wake up to use the loo at 2am, then finish watching at 6am when I get up for work! Did I skip anything?? Absolutely not! Thoroughly enjoyed this!
Have you tried Colourpop Lunch Money super shock highlighter? I also love Flexitarian, Lunch Money is a little more subtle but still wet looking if that’s what you’re looking for. Beautiful highlighter!

I like your position on decluttering where you think ahead and hold off from getting rid of products. I notice with other channels they'll declutter items, then later say how they regret decluttering those products - then repurchase them for another video. It almost seems like it happens for the sake of content. Anyway, this was a refreshing take on decluttering.
I’ve recently really gotten into trying new bronzers. I have always loved Guerlain’s OG bronzers if you want one with a nice glow. And I know it’s pricey but the Chantecaille bronzer in the red compact is really good. Also, Dior makes some great bronzers but I would recommend going in store to swatch. They can run darker than you think! Good luck with the search! Discovering new makeup is a lot of fun!

The flower beauty heatwave luminous highlighter in sunrise sounds right up your alley! Sheer and works beautifully on pale skin! There’s only 2 shades though :( a cool toned one and a warm one, sunrise is the cool one.
I love phase zero! I would love to see a video highlighting some of their products! I got one of their blushes in a fab fit fun box a while back, and it is my every day go-to, but it is buildable and I also sometimes use it in my stage makeup kit!
I would love to see a video swatching the single shadow collection… I think it could be interesting to see them by color/shade and see how brands compare
Hi Lauren! My experience with the Lethal highlighters is that they were initially very dull and chalky. After honestly like 2 weeks of use though it was like the texture improved and looked great. Almost like when baked highlighters have that hard layer you have to break through
I think she also has the “wrong” color. I believe Lauren has Ionic, but Isotope is better. I am very fair and was originally wanting Ionic but I watched several videos showing face application of both and it was immediately clear in all of them that Isotope gives a glass skin gleam that you don’t get with Ionic. So I went and bought Isotope and it became my number 1 powder highlighter. Which I did not expect, as I usually go for the pinky undertone very fair ones…
I LOVE my Elcie Luna highlighter, I've almost hit pan on it. It's stunning and definitely underrated but I love those hidden gem products that people sleep on honestly
The Kiko Milano baked bronzers are really really great, you definitely should try those if you love the Kosas one! They often come out in limited edition collections, but it's the same formula over and over again (since it's so loved), so even if the particular one you buy is discontinued they still have it in different packaging (Also, while you're at it, the shadow sticks from Kiko are also really good!)

Ok a couple bronzer recommendations for you! The Sol Body in light or medium (I use fair!) and the Tarte Sea Breezy bronzer in Seychelles (they have a mini!). For powder, my favorite bronzer is a baked one from Ulta’s line. It’s in a three pan and it’s the 3-in-1 Sculpt and Glow in California Sunlight

I’ve recently really gotten into trying new bronzers. I have always loved Guerlain’s OG bronzers if you want one with a nice glow. And I know it’s pricey but the Chantecaille bronzer in the red compact is really good. Also, Dior makes some great bronzers but I would recommend going in store to swatch. They can run darker than you think! Good luck with the search! Discovering new makeup is a lot of fun!

The flower beauty heatwave luminous highlighter in sunrise sounds right up your alley! Sheer and works beautifully on pale skin! There’s only 2 shades though :( a cool toned one and a warm one, sunrise is the cool one.
I love phase zero! I would love to see a video highlighting some of their products! I got one of their blushes in a fab fit fun box a while back, and it is my every day go-to, but it is buildable and I also sometimes use it in my stage makeup kit!
I would love to see a video swatching the single shadow collection… I think it could be interesting to see them by color/shade and see how brands compare

Try the flower beauty bronzers! They are a baked formula. The L'oreal lumi bronzer is nice too. Tarte park Ave princess is a great one.

Hi Lauren! My experience with the Lethal highlighters is that they were initially very dull and chalky. After honestly like 2 weeks of use though it was like the texture improved and looked great. Almost like when baked highlighters have that hard layer you have to break through
I think she also has the “wrong” color. I believe Lauren has Ionic, but Isotope is better. I am very fair and was originally wanting Ionic but I watched several videos showing face application of both and it was immediately clear in all of them that Isotope gives a glass skin gleam that you don’t get with Ionic. So I went and bought Isotope and it became my number 1 powder highlighter. Which I did not expect, as I usually go for the pinky undertone very fair ones…

I LOVE my Elcie Luna highlighter, I've almost hit pan on it. It's stunning and definitely underrated but I love those hidden gem products that people sleep on honestly
The Kiko Milano baked bronzers are really really great, you definitely should try those if you love the Kosas one! They often come out in limited edition collections, but it's the same formula over and over again (since it's so loved), so even if the particular one you buy is discontinued they still have it in different packaging
(Also, while you're at it, the shadow sticks from Kiko are also really good!)

Ok a couple bronzer recommendations for you! The Sol Body in light or medium (I use fair!) and the Tarte Sea Breezy bronzer in Seychelles (they have a mini!). For powder, my favorite bronzer is a baked one from Ulta’s line. It’s in a three pan and it’s the 3-in-1 Sculpt and Glow in California Sunlight
