Paweł Krawiec Trio - Jazz Juniors Competition 2023

Paweł Krawiec Trio, founded in early 2023, mostly performs its leader’s original
compositions. Krawiec’s playing style combines elements of traditional jazz with a modern
approach to harmony and rhythm, with a distinct admixture of Jimi Hendrix’s wild
psychedelic spirit. The guitarist promotes his own unique style in combination with a
thoroughly jazz-based rhythm section.
Band members:
Paweł Krawiec - guitarist, student of Katowice’s Karol Szymanowski Academy of
Music; Grand Prix winner at the School and Jazz Competition in Lubaczów. The first album
dedicated to his music was recorded by Paweł Krawiec Quartet at the prestigious Monochrom Studio and will be premiered this year in the late autumn / early winter.
Mateusz Lorenowicz - drummer, graduate of Katowice’s Karol Szymanowski
Academy of Music, prize winner in numerous jazz competitions. He has recorded several albums and regularly gives performances both at home and abroad.
Filip Hornik - bassist, student of Katowice’s Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music. A young, gifted, ambitious musician who has taken part in many album recordings and
pursues a busy concert schedule throughout Poland.
