I've watched a ton of these videos. Those end caps can get expensive when making them in bulk. I had to figure out out how to make end caps to save costs. Hot glue with small nibs on the wire after assembly. Then use nail polish to paint them. You gave me a few other ideas too All I know is that, these are addicting to make. I've made over 1000 for the craft shows. People love them . Key chains, hair jewelry, journal accessories and more.
Thank you so much for sharing your tips! 😁 Yes, the cord caps get expensive. I actually think using beads at the end are more interesting looking anyway.
I've seen these, so beautiful but looked hard, and now I can make them too!!! Thankyou for this tutorial, I greatly appreciate it!!! I didn't think I could do these, now you made it possible for me!!! Again thank you!!!
I discovered a few things to make it easier…. 1.) roll up scrap paper or book pages instead of using straws bc fabric sticks better 🥴 (I should’ve realized sooner but 🤷🏼♀️… I’m learning as I go lol) 2.) if u don’t want to mess w/ seed beads & wire, fuzzy yarn is great to wrap around the straws! 3.) also, the “cord end” jewelry findings are a bit pricy, but a large bead works beautifully & much cheaper & easy to find! 4.) I like mod podge fabric glue best! Not as gooey & smelly & grabs fast! Have fun creating! 🥳❤️
The beads are gorgeous 😍 ✨️! I had trouble following the video without verbal instructions as I'm new to beading. The end product is spectacular, though!
Thank you so much for the feedback. 😁 This has been a popular video so I’ll do another video giving step by step directions. I’ll work on that this week & hopefully that will be more helpful. ❣️
The video said there would be links in the description for supplies and I don’t see any links. Love these and can’t wait to try some of your suggestions
Kri, loved your video! Can you give us links to the size of seed beads u used and the size of the wire u sued to wrap them around the piece? Thank you!!!
@@francescascreations9601 thank you so much for watching 😁💗 I usually use 20 gauge wire w/ 3mm seed beads to wrap around. If you want the really small seed beads to wrap around the piece you’ll need 24 gauge wire. Sometimes I like to use “cord caps” on the ends (they already have loops). I like 8mm ones best. Hope this helps!
Yes! But before u tuck, use your rounded pliers & bend the end of the wire like you’re going to make a loop….so that the very end of the wire is pointing inward & won’t poke out. 🙄 hmm…. Did that make sense?? 😅
U could hang them wherever your imagination takes u. 😁 Some of them can be put on cord or chain as necklace. I use mine on the spine of junk journals. Right now I have a bunch hanging on a mirror in my art/ craft room.
What are those smooth ones made of? Thats what I want to make then make a necklace using a cord or strip of fabric to string the beads on. You dont say what those are made of.
Maybe you mean the “cord cap” ?… the hardware I use at the end of it? I have a more recent video also…. ua-cam.com/video/ayQs3KO0ieU/v-deo.htmlsi=aU1SFRWl-UJ5khoi
It would have been nicer if we could have seen more of you working on the beads and less of the screen filled with your container of seed beads. Just saying’.
Thanks for the feedback! ❤️ this is an older video…. I’ve learned a few things & gotten better at editing . 😅 I have quite a few boho bead tutorials now too.

I couldn't see what to do with the wired ends??? Did you tuck it in somewhere? Hard to see. Thanks! 😊
