Hey Eddie, thanks for taking your time to tackle a difficult subject sensitively. I was there supporting my community and even popped up in your video a couple of times. I appreciate how brave you’ve been here. Keep up the good work mate. X
Not everyone who is against mass immigration is Racist, far Right, I’m just a normal bloke who is concerned about the future of our country, the rioting is disturbing, violence on both sides, the ballot box is the place to do it but as the country seems to have no trust in politicians then what is the answer? I’m just not sure 😞
@@TynesideLife Most of what I read is online, UA-cam, mainly, people like yourself. My passion is football,as you know there are so many itk’s,vloggers etc so it’s a question of finding out which ones are balanced, trustworthy, the politics channels are the same really. I give the Chronicle as an example, once the voice for the Toon,I stopped buying in the Ashley era as ,in my opinion ,it forgot its roots. So I prefer now to read people who give their opinions in an open view.
I'm all for the protests. And yes I disagree with violence and destruction. But something needs done about the ILLEGAL Immigration. Also the EDL Haven't been a thing for 10 years now. I'm from Newcastle. And proud. But it's the extremists on both sides that ruin things. Not the genuine people who have concerns. But alot of the genuine people will be named far right. Due to mis information. We need unity and to take this to the government
This video is about a community standing together against racist violent thugs who threatened to burn their centre down. Nobody cares what their current name is. Thank you for your support on this 👍🏻
What people dont seem to realise is that we've had barbaric terrorist attacks every year in this country. Most of these people who went to protest are protesting against the constant grooming gangs/people targetting innocent children. Obviously people are angry..kids being killed is enough to make anyone angry enough to riot. But when these people protest its more about blaming them and calling them far right/nazis rather than asking these people why are they angry? British people have been silent for many years even after manchester arena/Rotherham grooming gangs/london bridge/london tube ect... the working class do not have a voice in this country and are often branded racist because they are the only ones speaking out against terrorism/grooming gangs. Its got nothing todo with colour or religion. We are trying to show there is a problem in society regarding these terrorist attacks. People are nervous to even protest or say anything about terrorism/grooming gangs ect. With fear of losing jobs or being branded far right. These poor 3 kids that were brutally murdered will be forgotten and it will continue to happen because these people in this crowd only come out to protest against the working class. Youll never see this lot protest kids being murdered or terrorist attacks. Let me remind everyone its only a few months ago a muslim man got stopped at the door of leeds hospital with a bomb in his bag. Imagine if that went of? Inside a hospital? We should be afraid to call this out.
This video is about a community standing together against violent racist white thugs who threatened to burn their centre down. Tarring all ‘foreigners’ as potential terrorists doesn’t help. Thank you for your support against violent racists 👍🏻
@TynesideLife who's been tarring all foreigners as potential terrorists? And did you speak to anyone at these protests? Or you just going along with the narrative and calling them all racist? The majority of people that went to these protests were genuinely worried and angry. A small minority took advantage of these protests and went to the extreme. As we seen on TV there was plenty of Asians in the Midlands and the North with weapons attacking pubs/cars and innocent people walking by. Now was that racist? 🤔 I personally don't think they are all racist but there was definitely a small minority who were out for trouble..carrying weapons doesn't help. Its easy to brand people racist without asking these people why they are angry. We should all know by now the mainstream media doesn't paint white working class people in a favourable light
@@AlCapo-dw2rw I agree the working class have been excluded from the political discourse for many decades. Of course politically motivated violence and criminal exploitation of vulnerable people cannot go unpunished. However, blaming whole communities or categories of people is not only misleading, it is a deliberate misdirection of justified anger that should be directed at the political class, not other disenfranchised people. The answer is to create a unified front to demand the proper funding of all our public services, including our police force, and that malfeasance in public office should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Part of the problem of our public services being underfunded is the practice of offshoring profits by the enormously wealthy corporations that trade in the UK. Whilst Independent and small business people face enormous fines and even gaol time for minor administrative errors in their accounts, large corporations get sweetheart deals, bribe our politicians to make laws in their favour, and offshore their tax liabilities. Year after year, party after party say there is nothing they can do about this. They claim theses organisations are acting within the law. Here's how they are misleading everyone. First of all, they make the laws, they can change them. Secondly, many of these offshore ports are British protectorates. The politicians claim these places are not under their jurisdiction. Well, why are they unable to affect British protectorates, yet invade any country the US calls out as a "terrorist regime". These wars are the very reason we have so many illegal migrants. They are escaping countries demolished by NATO wars. The illegal or dubious pretext for these wars are also the very thing that foster resentment and acts of terror against NATO countries. Stopping the bombs will go a long way to stopping the boats, and even go some way to reducing the resentment that leads to terrorist acts. The root cause of resentment coming from Arab countries toward the West is the betrayal of the Arabs after WWI. They fought for the Western Allies against the Ottomans because they were promised liberation from Ottoman rule. Instead they had Western imperial powers carving up the area to serve their own interests. What they wanted was an autonomous self governed region. What they got was a fractured region governed by King's, Shahs, and presidents that facilitated those western corporate interests, at the expense of the rest of the population. The countries the West call "The Axis of Evil" are the countries that managed to throw off the mantle of imperial corporate domination, in order to benefit the people instead of their corrupt leaders, who benefited from handouts from the corporate imperial system. All these misadventures, including the handouts, are funded by our taxes, whilst our best interests are ignored.
i would add that people should be really angry that due to males (mainly white males as they make up the majority 80% in england ) commit domestic violence which gets so violent that at least one woman dies from it every week of the year and often with kids involved who have to go into care - if we could sort that out and not be silent about that then maybe the rest would be so much easier and less violent in our society - domestic abuse is so often covered up sadly
That women at the end shouting for the EDL is wasting her time, they don't exist anymore and haunt done for a few years now., i`m for the protest but NOT for the violence on the thuggery. I`m against mass immigration but doesn't not make me racist or Far right! It offends me to be called "Far right" I`m just a normal guy who was once used to be be proud to be English.
There’s a massive problem with how these situations are portrayed, Firstly, I denounce and condemn anyone engaging in violence or ACTUAL racist rhetoric, but labelling any opinion suggesting concern over illegal immigration is wrong and counter productive, it started with Brexit as a means to dismiss opposing opinions without having to engage with them, Multiculturalism can only work when there’s understanding that when culture conflicts with dominant culture already in place , if is forsaken for the common good of every citizen. This is currently considered racist, which is ridiculous because multiculturalism CANNOT work any other way, even as a theory.
How's is being "far right" if you don't want tens of thousands of illegal muslim migrants flooding into the country... I love how the BBC and SKY news media don't show these muslim and migrant riots burning busses out though...

I'm guessing the party that was in charge for the past 14 years? you know the party who through this country into debt/despair and division?? am i right?
What does allowing mean? If u are talking about people arriving on the boats for example, they arent given permission to come by anybody, they arrive by their own accord. And legally speaking, once they claim asylum at a port of entry they are not “illegal” up and until / unless their application is rejected. It is only classed as “illegal” if they enter the country with no visa and do not claim asylum. Once asylum is claimed, there is a legal process that has to be followed. We should be careful with the language we use. An asylum seeker is not an illegal immigrant. So basically, these hotels that have been targeted are filled with mainly asylum seeking applicants, they are not illegal immigrants. And to claim asylum in the uk the applicant must do it at a uk port of entry, it cannot be done from abroad so how else do they claim asylum in the uk unless they come here to do it.
So they are uk citizens who are thugs? Nah they dont want to burn down their hang out places. Must be some people with no manners and no education doing this and i know ukncitizens who reside there have an education and manners and need their town not burned down. @TynesideLife
Agree with you Eddy. It is a shame this has turned violent and into a racism row rather than protesting against ILLEGAL Immigration that's what people seem to be forgetting the difference between people coming over to work and those coming over in boats illegally and I think we all agree something more needs to be done to stop the boats
the boat people are still assyllum seekers and claim assylum once they reach here ( even though bravermans law makes it illegal to arrive wothout a visa ) so its not illegal untill there assylum claim has been rejected and most 70% will gain assylum under the current laws - we need to speed up that process and make sure assylum seekers are integrated and put to work and pay there taxes - we do need immigrats to fill jobs - so lets get it done
@@4adiarmuid totally agree I’ve said many times in these videos there’s a difference between immigration and illegal immigration and I am totally against the boats coming in day after day.
@@Flukey_1970 you missed what i was saying there not illegal to come here just illegal if once processed its found that there assylum claim is not valid and thus dont have a visa - the word ''illegal'' should be used carefully and correctly. currently only about 30% will be found to be illegal and not having a valid claim. the backlog needs to be cleared as a priority so were not paying to have people sitting around in hotels waiting but they could be building infrsturcture like HS2 or working in the care sector or in agriculture - they should have a works placement until they gain citzenship if they cant find a job in there profession
@@4adiarmuid Ah, i get you. well, i guess most people associate illegal immigration as being the people who pay a couple of grand to rather dubious individuals to cram you on a dingy and cross the channel. we all saw the adverts flying around Instagram offering a sale on prices to get over. regardless though you are missing my point that you are instantly branded a racist if you raise the subject of immigration by some people.
I had a long conversation yesterday with a Muslim man yesterday , he was an utter gentleman. Obviously we both have different views on religion but the one thing we agreed on wholeheartedly was illegal immigration must stop . I'd like to think he educated me on a few points and vice versa with him .
The term ‘illegal immigation’ needs to stop because the people who come into the country via unconventional means aren’t actually illegal as long as they apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain and only become illegal if their claim is rejected…at which point they will be facing deportation anyway. By labelling people ‘illegal immigrants’ and making them seem like criminals from the offset, it begins a process of dehumanisation because as a society for the most part criminals are seen as of a lower standing and instantly untrustworthy (though just as with refugees, I daresay that those feelings are rarely evoked on an individual level). Where in reality the people being referred to as such have fled from everything they know in search of either safety or opportunity…or in some cases both. As somewhere between 70 and 80 percent of applicants have their application approved, I’d hazard a guess that most of the people utilising the small boats etc (risking their lives and being exploited while doing so), are not in any way shape or form illegal.
We need more of this. People who have come here & integrated into society & work hard to contribute stand to benefit as much as the locals by getting a grip of uncontrolled illegal immigration.
Who cares what name they go by? They’re violent racist thugs and have the same ideology. This video is about a community standing together in the face of violent thugs who threatened to burn down their centre. We all appreciative support against violence 👍🏻

I share the same views as you to a very exact detail. Proper Geordies think alike :) We are the most accepting people in the country, I'm proud of that. I did notice it was kids taking advantage to cause damage, I watched it live in a multi stream. Some are just hooligans that are the dregs of society, the types that you see on street corners with carling cans at an adult age. Far-right is inflammatory by the government and media attempting to try to label concerned people that worry about the safety of their kids to sow division and get people focused on each other and not the idiots that run the country. Divide and conquer. The problem is that our country is getting so polarised, its causing conflict the division. It is all cause and effect. What started this could have been prevented?
This is spot on. Concerns about these issues have been raised for years but the government/media have thrown insults such as racist/bigot to dismiss the ideas so they don't have to deal with them. Turns out when people don't feel they have a voice they take to other forms of protest 🤷🏻♂️ Calling these concerns 'far right' is just the new way if dismissing them again. What we need is peaceful protest & adult conversation in parliament - I feel however like we will get neither & this mess & division will continue
You're right. The people we saw smashing places up looked like they've spend the week in the black garter. I'm sure they were instructed to riot with a bag of gear in their pocket...of you go, cause anarchy. The message was definitely lost by these thugs
Racism is not a problem it’s a thought pattern that most people believe is wrong it exists in every country and society and can fought through education. The peoples protests are not about racism it’s about the destruction of our society we have all worked for.The introduction of foreign thought and ideals directly against our democracy and religion is and should be illegal we did not vote or consent to this therefore starmer should be arrested the same way as the protesters that committed destruction of property and judged and sentenced the same.
maybe they're bringing to light the fact a genocide is taking place? do you not think it's important to draw attention to this considering the media are clearly pandering to Israel?

Or is it when you set fire to the police van? Of course you could be doing all of these things to bring down the bourgeoisie, or take over a factory. In that case I'd say you were 'far left' But when you are chucking bricks and smashing the place up whilst shouting about race, religion and immigration...what else is it but far right? The mass migration problem remains, many white British people have concerns about the loss and displacement of their culture. It's evident in the make up of the people at this gathering. It shows how the culture is changing, compare that part of Newcastle to how it was in the 50's and 60's, still in living memory for some, even if younger folk don't see it.
Of course there’s a far right, as there is a far left in political ideologies. Not everyone who is concerned about immigration is a racist or far right, which you will have heard me say?
@@TynesideLife 2016 Britain voted to be self governing and control its borders. ALL politians have been a disgrace. Thats the problem not racism. Far right is a Starmerism to cover up his failings.

This is not a slur on British people. The far right are everywhere, always have been and probably always will. Very silly to say that there is no such thing.
A huge problem in this country (and probably most Western World countries) is people don’t talk things through. It’s OKAY to have concerns with immigration. It’s also OKAY to question any religion. Every religion should be open to scrutiny. However it’s NOT OKAY to smash up your town and attack people for simply being different, or having a different view. Doing these things make it easy for people to view you as a “nazi” or “far right racist” etc (and to be honest, if you do those things, you probably are those labels). However on the otherhand, it’s not okay to call somebody a racist simply because they have concerns about immigration. And I do believe that is a huge contributor to the problems we’re seeing now. I know lovely, harmless, hard working peaceful people who voted to leave the EU and there are people who genuinely believe if you voted to leave, you’re a racist. And that’s wrong. We NEED to talk about things. And our politicians need to lead that.
The thousands there were made up of all colours and religions with many white British. Those holding Palestine flags accounted for about 5 people. Have some balance Eddy 👍🏻

As much as I hate violence or nastiness to foreigners, the fact that I am often a minority as a European, let alone a Geordie on the streets of Central Newcastle makes me nostalgic for times gone by.
Can I just say that I haven’t shared my view on what I think a Geordie is, or isn’t. I do know that it has changed since the 1800’s and I know that nobody owns the term, or gets to decide who is and isn’t. I am married to the Daughter of a ex Gurkha who served with the British army. Shes a carer and basically wipes Geordie arses all day😅 long. There's not a bad bone in her body. She has also been a standard bearer for the British Legion raising lots of money. She is scared, scared she will be attacked and I worry about her all the time. We both have feelings about the unchecked numbers of migrants coming in but do not agree with violence and rioting. Herself came here 12 years ago and has probably cost her about 12 grand in visas and fees to be legal. The problems I feel is the government and left wing councils and their 2 tier attitude. The grooming gangs that were not dealt with and other isolated incidents that seem to be hushed up just add fuel to the fire as we feel that nobody is above the law in this country and should all be dealt with equally. Her family and myself are now rethinking our future here and maybe relocate to Nepal . In my work I have spoken to foreign doctors, nurses, carers, salon staff and others and they are all scared. These idiots that are doing no good for those of us with genuine concerns are playing into the hands of the government as I sometimes think they want us divided. But if all the immigrants left here who would work in the NHS, Pharmacies, Restaurants etc etc . I hope for some peace and sense but I feel this is only the beginning of something worse. I hope I am wrong.
Thank you for sharing Bob. I served in Hong Kong for three years and was in regular contact with the Gurkhas there. In 2017 I spent 6 weeks in Nepal doing volunteer work so I have an affinity with the Nepalese. Her fear at our racist thugs angers me. I should say that many years were spent investigating grooming gangs and many of them are now behind bars. They’re difficult cases to investigate as the young girls can sometimes be unreliable victims/witnesses. Thankfully better support processes are in place now. I wish I could move away from the UK too as it’s broken and becoming more depressing. Good luck Bob 👍🏻

13:00 find the use of the word 'fight' is quite incendiary. I seen some left wing facebook posts saying they were going to 'take the monument by force' on Saturday... completely wrong language to be using, only antagonises the other side - both sides are as bad as eachother
I’m not suggesting the left don’t have idiots but We’ve had a week and a bit of the far right causing violent mayhem all over the country and you say both sides are as bad as each other?
@TynesideLife Yeah, personally I think there are people on both sides looking for a fight, projectiles thrown in both directions so to speak. In that regard both sides are as bad as eachother. That said using incendiary language eggs it on unfortunately and leads only to the radicalisation of others, a poor choice of wording - not just in that interview piece by the protester being interviewed but on many social media posts online.
the mass imigration is terrifying, i dont like how people "sneak" into the country, the violence is not the answer in the streets tho, sadly the government and police seem to not care enough to listen, violence is not the answer to anything smashing up our towns and citys does not make sense. something needs to be done i have no issues with people coming over to the country as long as its done through proper channels, not sneaking through on boats, the fact they sneak into the country worrys the shit out of me its just not right, then the fact tax payer money is thrown at them ontop of that really enrages me. i do not agree with the violence happening over it tho its not right. i dont agree with people being labelled far right thugs either as i feel like that incites angry people to react, i feel like kier starmer has incited so much violence due to the frustration of labelling people in that way so in my opinion he has been the worst person for inciting violence online, so where is the justice for kier starmer being arrested for his own rules? oh yeah rules dont apply to politicians or the police do they how could i forget. I would agree and disagree with this statement. The flag of Palestine is not an illegal one. It may be the case that those flying that flag wish to express their solidarity with that set of victims in the conflict. But ones’ feelings are always valid and I can see what those of a Jewish background may fear for their safety in this viciously divided issue. Fear of being targeted on the basis of their religion/background, possible association with mob thuggery. And that is a shame - because not everyone carries the same behaviour, despite the colours they fly.

I work with all colours and races in the area, Ive never been mistreated by minority communities, only shown respect. I don't however want our country overrun, its not sustainable in any way. Keep up the great work. I much prefer your work now you've moved a bit away from #NUFC content.
One of the best signs I saw was Geordies are not just Black & White, we're all colours. Sad thing is its easy to blame others and allocate broad issues on a minority, the United Kingdom has always been a melting pot, from Angles, Saxons, Romans, you name it thier here, and I for one like it. Without immigration the UK would be worse off, look at how things have turned for the worse since Brexit. If people didnt want immigrants then why vote Brexit? As that only affected European immigration and nothing from the rest of the world. My personal opion is treat otheres as you want to be treat, regardless of colour, creed, religion or sexuality....except if your from Sunderland

Great to see the true community of Newcastle. Thanks for sharing Eddy. Very heartwarming and uplifting. I believe there is another far right protest in Newcastle on Saturday. I really hope it does not spoil the Sela cup. There is certainly a multi cultural audience at the matches who will not want these extremist thugs to spoil the day. I was born in Newcastle General, Raised in the West end of Newcastle ... I love it when a community comes together, :D --- I also believe that the media purposly spread misinformation about so called 'illegal' imigration. But that's another story ... Well Done Newcastle .. Love you all my Brothers / Sisters :D
Boats arriving on our shores uninvited is commonly referred to as illegal. They have in fact arrived here illegally, although they are in effect asylum seekers. It’s semantics 🤷🏻♂️
@@TynesideLife I agree .. it's commonly referred to as illegal, although that's mis information. You're not 'illegal' until you've had a claim processed and it's been denied. When you land on the shores you're an asylum seeker, not an Illegal Immigrant. (Although the Tories have removed all 'safe' routes to travel through to get here legally, leaving only the 'illegal' routes, or routes by people smugglers) But 'this is why people are getting so angry, because the media is lying and not explaining the truth :/ ... But y'no ... Thanks for doing these, and all videos, do love em :D
I purposefully give my opinion before watching this video, after having watched it, i dont think that i have ever been prouder of Newcastle, though i think calling out the EDL days before another protest on Saturday was stupidity, and could be courting confrontation, almost all of the protesters just want to stop illegal immigration as you said, and people want It sorted, I was at the Tommy Robinson protest in London (not purposefully) and the atmosphere was ideal, nothing like what they have become, my sister whom I was visiting says that the "free palastine" protesters were much more violent and she could feel the hate in the air
Well done Eddie… smashed it… I’m a English geordie Muslim living in gosforth and all I can say the Muslim community in Newcastle are very very lovely, friendly and caring… I’ve had nothing but support from them in my early days of being a Muslim and now I wish to my self why I didn’t do it earlier… Eddie pls one day if poss go into to any mosque in Newcastle and just have a sit down with one of the imams (priests) of the mosque.. if you need get in touch I could put you in the right direction.. they will welcome you or any non Muslim with open arms… peace out guys.. love and respect ❤
Peace protesters are now suddenly flavour of the month but have been sneered at, frowned upon and treated with disdain by a great many of our politicians since last October. That's British Politics for You!
Many of those protesters will very likely have been among those being endearingly referred to as hate marchers by the ever delightful Suella Braverman not so long ago. Now We have Robert Jenrick who would like anybody loudly shouting Allahu Akbar to be arrested@@TynesideLife
@@TynesideLife Yes correct I expect the full force of the law to come down on Ricky jones. If it doesn’t it tells you two things that’s wrong with the system 🤔.
@@TynesideLife Perhaps to people from outside of the area. There is a difference though. Gateshead more of a Durham twang to it, North Tyneside (and north of that) a bit more Northumbrian. I can even tell what part of Newcastle someone is from (sometimes anyway). I'm guessing you're from Gateshead somewhere.
There is no Pitmatic (Durham) twang to the Gateshead accent Karl. I’ve never in my 57 years of (on and off) living, working and socialising in the Gateshead and Newcastle area heard such a thing There is no distinguishable difference to the accent within a 4-5 mile radius of Newcastle town centre. My accent has softened over years as I’ve lived and worked all over the world for most of my adult life. People native to the area speak the same in Tyneside until you get to around Jarrow on the South and N Shields but that is only a word here and a word there. The accent is the same
@@TynesideLife I beg to differ Eddy. I've lived all over Newcastle and did a few years in Felling as a kid, I can 100% tell the difference. Newcastle Geordie is a bit coarser, so maybe the Northumbrian influence? Mentality is the same between Newcastle and Gateshead though (to a degree). Although that wasn't always the case, and especially during the civil war!
Good video Eddie. Nicely balanced. Of course there are issues but smashing things up is not the answer. The peacful defence and support of the West End is great to see and I hope things remain calm and peaceful in Newcastle.

Excellently put.

Although who cares what they call themselves these days? It’s the same guys with the same ideology
why against mass immigration when we have jobs to fill and cant find people here - we need people to work and make money and make england great again
Geordies are black and white!
How's is being "far right" if you don't want tens of thousands of illegal muslim migrants flooding into the country... I love how the BBC and SKY news media don't show these muslim and migrant riots burning busses out though...

The vast majority are economic migrants. I have no problem with genuine asylum seekers and legal economic migrants
France is a safe country.
So they are uk citizens who are thugs? Nah they dont want to burn down their hang out places. Must be some people with no manners and no education doing this and i know ukncitizens who reside there have an education and manners and need their town not burned down. @TynesideLife

Thank you martin 🙏 someone else who understands last nights protest and what I said. You’re in a tiny minority unfortunately
the boat people are still assyllum seekers and claim assylum once they reach here ( even though bravermans law makes it illegal to arrive wothout a visa ) so its not illegal untill there assylum claim has been rejected and most 70% will gain assylum under the current laws - we need to speed up that process and make sure assylum seekers are integrated and put to work and pay there taxes - we do need immigrats to fill jobs - so lets get it done
☝️👍🏻

The problem is everyone becomes an illegally uncontrolled immigrant when the previous government refused to process any applications for asylum or migration.
@@TynesideLife i would be that than a bunch of weaklings who have no idea whats coming
@@Martin.Lord.Waghorn6666 violent mobs aren’t brave. They’re the opposite. They’re cowards and a disgrace to humanity.
Strength and courage lies in humility, dialogue and compassion…
I love the people of the West Rd, thank you Eddie.
I’m not political at all. I will never understand people smashing up their own city as a protest especially when it doesn’t solve anything and causes greater divide. That being said, illegal/mass immigration rates when our own is struggling with unemployment/homelessness I’m equally not ok with.
At last last some balance and understanding! You’re a rare breed on here 🙏
@@TynesideLife I’d hope I was in the majority but as is life in 2024! 🤦🏻
Great video Eddie. I wish everyone would understand that peaceful protests are fine, violence is not.
At the end was the chant “EDL where are ya”. If it was is that not encouraging a kick off in a way. Hope I heard wrong but it just seemed a wrong chant at that particular time
You’ll recall what I said in the disclaimer at the beginning?
Agree with pretty much everything you've said there Eddy lad.
I think we've all got concerns but smashing stuff up and lighting coppers on fire is totally unacceptable.
Hope you're well brother, keep up the good work.
You don’t realise how refreshing and a relief it is to hear someone who has actually listened to and understood what I’ve said! Thank you 🙏 ☝️
The EDL don’t exist anymore or so I believe.
it doesnt exist. the police released the "time sheet" to the news media
They say it doesn't exist but they still have an online presence. They seem to pick & choose when it's safe to be active. Even Robinson contradicted himself saying it didn't exist 24hrs after saying it did 🤷
@@drewsharratt564 Bit like BLM then ?

5grand to come on a boat or £39 to get a flight ? There’s a reason why they don’t come border control
( so how can we respect two tier kier when he does not respect his own rules).
Cry more you far right whinge bad
Regardless , you must be very glad violence has been avoided? 👍🏻
@@TynesideLife I think by the comments on this post and the likes to them comments people have a genuine concerns with mass illegal immigrants arriving on these shore's but you can gloss the real problem over if you want it won't fix it

@@stephenharris7982 why don’t you watch the video Stephen? If you had, you wouldn’t have made this comment. I discuss concerns for mass immigration, including mine.
This video is about a community coming together to stand up against violent thugs who had threatened to burn down their centre.
Those comments you refer to are more people who aren’t listening to what was said, or haven’t watched the video.
Great video. Totally agree with your point of view. Most reasonable people do not want violence and destruction.
I grew up in the 60’/70’s. Our population has changed over the years as it has in most countries. There are simply a lot more people in the world now. We all need to get along.
Good video but I don't think people of Jewish faith would feel comfortable with Palestine flags being waved by a small number of attendees.
Seems Jews don't count these days.
R u more offended by a legitimate flag of a legitimate population than you are about the massacre and genocide of kids. Please put ur priorities in order.
@@lawtonloraine4144I'm a duel national, I am Jewish and served in 2014 and 2023 and the genocide is a slanted story created by media narrative.
The latest UN census has shown that Gaza and West bank populations grew by 2.5 and 3% respectively which is above the mean for Palastinian growth rate.
2300 miles of tunnels and no civilians allowed in these tunnels? Very odd that it keeps getting ignored. Most of these tunnels access houses and buildings.
When an area is designated as a operation zone civilians are moved, those that stay are there to aid Hamas.
Hamas dont operate with military uniform which is a violation on Geneva conventions pertaining to regalia and clearly shown weapons, this is a war crime which puts people at risk.
Is the situation bad, yes it is but while Hamas are in power and call for extermination, there will be no peace only suffering.
As to the nativity question, the kingdom of Israel and Judea were formed 967BC, 47BC the Roman's put down the Jewish revolt and changed the name to syria paelestia. Jews remained. Arabs only came in the 7th and 8th century and despite numerous empires, slavery, exile Jews remained in the land. After world war 1 the following arab nations formed; saudi arabia, iraq, syria, Lebanon, Jordan. The holy land was divided into Arab and Jewish territory, so why should we not be allowed a return to historical lands of our forefathers?

Something needs to be done about Muslims in this country having weapons and not getting arrested. As well as they are bringing down St Georges flag.
Sadly a lot of people didn’t vote.
In 1930’s Germany, an emerging far right party brainwashed millions by subtly instilling fear, ignorance, hate and the dehumanisation of another culture. We know what happened next. Does this pattern sound familiar?…
As long as the public aren’t seduced by a party that flirts too far to the right. We’ve just witnessed what can happen when nationalistic rhetoric is allowed to whip up fear and hate over time and then throw in a destructive lie that spreads on social media…

Well said eddie power to the people 👏 ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️
I understand refugees are welcome but illegal imagrants are not!
And therein lies the dichotomy.
The illegal immigrants are in fact refugees seeking asylum and with no ‘legal’ system for refugees to apply for asylum in the UK, they come across on boats at significant personal cost and risk to life (with other individuals of ambiguous backgrounds of course).
We then call everyone who’s coming across on boats as ‘illegal immigrants’ and vent our hate towards them.

Thatcherism and Austerity politics are to blame for the sad state of this country.
Few things happened in town today which I seen earlier on before the protests, best of luck to their recovery. Whether or not the protests have anything to do with it, I'm proud Newcastle was able to hold off these awful riots, hopefully the same can be said on Saturday.

I love it when a community comes together, :D --- I also believe that the media purposly spread misinformation about so called 'illegal' imigration. But that's another story ... Well Done Newcastle .. Love you all my Brothers / Sisters :D
What misinformation has been spread?
@@TynesideLife Well calling it 'illegal' to begin with ;)
Boats arriving on our shores uninvited is commonly referred to as illegal. They have in fact arrived here illegally, although they are in effect asylum seekers.
It’s semantics 🤷🏻♂️
@@TynesideLife
I agree .. it's commonly referred to as illegal, although that's mis information. You're not 'illegal' until you've had a claim processed and it's been denied. When you land on the shores you're an asylum seeker, not an Illegal Immigrant. (Although the Tories have removed all 'safe' routes to travel through to get here legally, leaving only the 'illegal' routes, or routes by people smugglers) But 'this is why people are getting so angry, because the media is lying and not explaining the truth :/ ... well done people....im so proud this morning

Eddy, where's your accent from? Doesn't sound like Newcastle. Maybe Gateshead or North Tyneside?
The accent between Newcastle and Gateshead is indistinguishable
@@TynesideLife Perhaps to people from outside of the area. There is a difference though. Gateshead more of a Durham twang to it, North Tyneside (and north of that) a bit more Northumbrian. I can even tell what part of Newcastle someone is from (sometimes anyway).
I'm guessing you're from Gateshead somewhere.
There is no Pitmatic (Durham) twang to the Gateshead accent Karl. I’ve never in my 57 years of (on and off) living, working and socialising in the Gateshead and Newcastle area heard such a thing
There is no distinguishable difference to the accent within a 4-5 mile radius of Newcastle town centre.
I beg to differ on the accent.
