i have 2 weeks to get ready for a downwind- i am 52, average fitness, do i focus on endurance or high intensity sprints and how many days of the week should i be paddling

I sat in a surf ski for the first time a day ago and can’t believe he hard they are... Fell out every metre or two. Falling out of the V7 out in the ocean too. Hehe
seemingly stupid question, sorry: is it always better to practice on water when I have access to it or is it beneficial to do these exercises for other reasons please?

Should hip and sit bones be front and forward leaning? Rather than sitting back on the buttox?
