I can NEVER breed! I tried so many times and they never work. It’s either the females are too scared or the males are too aggressive that they’ll start biting the females after just 3-5 mins. I always introduced them for few days before I released the females. And yes the males always have bubble nests and the females are ready as they have a big white dot and big belly. My little nephew is a 100% beginner and his first attempt was successful. His batch is now 6 months old.
Hi, even if pairs are ready to breed but they don't like each other still that pair will fight or hurt each other, be sure pair must like each other..thanks

Hi, Dr. Noob, in this video, you can see my first pair breeding it fails. so I decided to look for another female then I repeat and follow the steps in breeding process. im so lucky because its a good result. If your male still wants to fight the female in the third time maybe you need the male to condition or give him time to relax maybe he is strees..Try also look for another male to pair to you female betta..thank you hope this help..

Hi Eunice, I dont know if talisay fits to all fishes, I put talisay to my guppies, mollies, betta swordtails especially when I am going to condition them. Talisay used for conditioning and care of fish, can also heals diseased...salamat..stay safe..

Hi, i transfer it to a bigger tank and feed with high nutrients food such such as livefoods..put some almond leaf to the tank.

Hi ZOOF SPORTS, mostly my adults betta I feed them with Optimum pellets, sometimes livefoods like Daphnia or Mosquito Larvae..To my fry I feed them with Baby Brine shrimp or Moina...If you dont have livefoods for your adult betta just feed them with pellets like Optimum Betta Food a Highly Nutrition Food for All Betta Fish..thanks and stay safe..
Hi. Why is my male making bubble nest in his tank but doesn't make any when i put him in a breeding tank to breed. I acclimated him, then release him for 30mins to get familiarize. And when i finally put the female in the chimney barrier, and they start to flare at each other and left them 1-2 days. My male is still not making any bubble nest.

Hi Sam, if your first breeding fail just look for another dominant female then follow same process in breeding..
4 to 12 months betta is ready for breeding.

You can, but i recommend 5 or 6 months in the minimum, 4 is the bare minimum. So the female has full and good eggs.
