      The Massey Ferguson 6700S series has been replaced by the new New 6S Series. There are so many option & features choices the best thing to do is visit your local Massey Ferguson Dealer and sit down and custom build one the way you need it. If you build & order there are extra savings too.

    The customer gone all out on the option with that one! What was the old White in the workshop in the background? Nice to see a few still getting around

      That is the way we ordered it from the most popular configurations we sell. When you want the best...get the best features! We have lots of White Tractor running in West Central Missouri. My grandfather was originally a Oliver Dealer and we transitioned into White then added AGCO Allis then Massey Ferguson in 2008. That was a customers 2-135 we were working on to prepare for the upcoming harvest...they still use it all the time.

      Vahrenberg Implement such a great history of your business, so glad it’s still in the family too. Can’t beat good old fashioned family service.

    Why don't they put self-leveling buckets on the compact tractors like the 1700 premiums and use the CV transmission?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  6 років тому

      I have requested Self Level Loaders but at this time they do not offer that as an option. AGCO does not offer a CVT that small yet only on larger horsepower tractors. There is a true CVT and then variable range transmissions. The Variable range transmissions are very inefficient compared to the true CVT. True CVT are very expensive option for a tractor this size.

    LITTLE VALVE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON IN THE WINTER AND THE SUMMER?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 роки тому

      The Coolant Shut Off Valve needs to be turned off when running the Air Conditioner Full time. When running heater full time turn it on so coolant flows to the cab evaporator/

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  6 років тому +1

      There is a wide variety of prices based on Feature Package Level and Choice of Options & Accessories. Plus Transmission Choices. Cash Selling Price for Tractor Only from $97,000 to $137,000 with standard equipment packages add loader your looking at $110,000 to $149,000 for standard equipment packages but there are items that can be deducted and lots of features that can be added. I recommend getting with your local dealer and building your perfect tractor the way you need and Massey Ferguson offers some amazing Pre-Sell Discounts for those that Build & Order.

    I can’t figure why anyone would buy this over a Fendt 516/514.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  5 років тому

      One reason is price, the other is dealer network. Here is Missouri there are no Fendt Dealers. But we have lots of Massey Ferguson Dealers. Plus simplicity of operation - Massey Ferguson is simplified version and many farmers prefer simplicity versus complexity of Fendt.

      Vahrenberg Implement I think Massey’s are the opposite. They are not at all ergonomic, the controls and monitor software not as intuitive. Everyone who hasn’t seen a Fendt thinks they are so difficult to operate, but in reality due to how intuitive everything is, are far more easier. That’s why Massey keeps taking technology from Fendt into their line.

      That's the great part of AGCO. If you need or want those extra features you can buy a Fendt. If those added features don't are not of value to you then you can buy a Massey Ferguson. I can tell you most for the DynaVT transmissions we sell the potential is not maximized by our customers. One of the reasons we do lots of videos to help them learn what it can do so they can use added features and get more from their investments. I know Fendt is the technology leader but not everyone needs that or wants that. Massey Ferguson still light years ahead of any non-AGCO competitor with the DynaVT.

      @@VahrenbergImplement True. But before long, like Challenger, the inside of a Massey will look no different then a Fendt. I can't figure why Fendt has a stigmatism that they are so difficult to operate. A year and a half ago I went from an all Deere operation to all Fendt. I was unhappy with the quality of product Deere has recently put out. The day the first few Fendt's were delivered, the delivery guy gave me a brief run-through of basic features and I was off. Very simple and intuitive controls.
      I looked at the 6700s in spring, I was looking to purchasing another 500 series Fendt. I thought Massey might save me some money but the numbers were so close on a 516. I was also completely lost in the controls, so I went with another Fendt. I'm now a 9 Fendt operation from 500, 700 and 800 series tractors but I'm not a Massey hater...I just bought two Massey/Lely 4180 balers so we'll see how they go.

      @@VahrenbergImplement You are 100% right about folks not embracing the excellent technology that is IVT. The Fendt/Agco transmission cannot be beat in any task. I used to hear that IVT is awful for loader work but I don't see how. The purest just want to hate IVT to hate IVT. The truth is, farming can be long hard work which is why the industry needs to embrace new tech that makes our job easier and faster. IVT is a hell of a lot less complicated in the long run.
