A very interesting review Mark. Ironically I am considering selling my Kawasaki ZZR1400. I'm not sure this will be its replacement...but stranger things have happened....
@@markpulling12 Yes I remember you saying you had previously owned one. The reason I'm looking to possibly sell is that I get a really bad cramp in my thighs after a long day on it. As you know I also own a Honda NC750X (2017, geared version) and am trying to work out my next move. I love the NC, but wish it had a touch more power. Indeed I have been looking through your back catalogue at previous reviews of different bikes, including the V-Strom 800, but I do like the fuel efficiency of the NC...decisions decisions...
Hi Mark, I've just reviewed this bike and agree on everything you say, it's the best E-Bike I've tried for the price! It's the perfect E-Bike. Enjoyed the review. Thanks for the video. Mine should be up in the next couple of days.

I sounds like a noise from your brake disc. Mine came with not good form. The brakes took on the front wheel. I put it upside down and re-stricted the disc and now the front wheel keeps on rowling for decades.
Nice review, but i would have liked to have seen and heard about the charging of the Battery on or off the bike etc. And the make of the motor and gears. And finally, how long is the guarantee you get with the bike, many are now coming with a two year one.
One year warranty but with the discount code this bike is well under £800 which is a bargain Battery is easy to charge on or off just plug 🔌 in and comes off with the key Best wishes mark
Most rear hubs are made or sourced by bafang in china. They have been making e bikes for 100 yrs. no elliptical gears in motor like all posh ones to wear out I just simple windings and a bearing. I’ve got 2 and done 6k miles on the 10 yr old one original everything.
Just got this bike delivered today, but not unboxing till tomorrow. Got it for all the reasons you and other reviewer's are saying, more bang for your buck. Who else was not jealous of your scenery/surroundings ? I have relatives living down in Weymouth. Others were saying they got over 30mph from this bike, what top speed did you get, and was it easy to attach the throttle ?
Thank you for a great review .couple of questions is their any problems with battery mount supporting such a large battery is it secure.and is the bike waterproof as I read about this bike and it said not to ride in the rain .

Can anyone tell me if the motor only assists when you're pedalling, or can you just use a throttle? As always a great review of something I have been thinking about.
This bike can be used with a throttle + unlocked to go 30mph if you want. Yeah its illegal but nobody is checking and to be honest motorists are delighted that they dont have to drive slow behind you.
Helpful video! I'm buying my first e-bike and I'm torn between this and the Engwe EP-2 pro. I know they're completely different bikes but which would you choose?
@@markpulling12 Thank you very much for the reply. Which do you think would be best suited for food deliveries? I wondered if the Engwe would be due to more upright riding position (keeping the back pack upright). Are they similar for hill climbing ability? Many thanks!
