    something to bear in mind is that you can part out pieces when the item is broken. A good example of this, I bought a bread machine at a garage sale for $5 to resell that didnt run. But I sold the pan for $15 and the mixing paddle sold for $18. Personally I would never do a pallet as they tend be way overpriced and require a lot of work as you discovered. Garage sales and thrift stores (if done with know how, there are a lot of great youtubers that help you out) can be fun and profitable

    Some eBay tips:
    * Selling on eBay widens your market to an international level! More potential buyers can mean more competition for your items (e.g. higher prices during item auctions) or faster selling times.
    * While shipping can be annoying, you can set up your item listing to be "local pick up only," just like Facebook Marketplace.
    * You don't need to pay for shipping necessarily. You can have the buyer pay for the shipping, so they can choose how much they want to pay for shipping.
    * You can use the search filters on the website to find out how much previous items have sold for recently. This is a more reliable way of price-checking the resale value of any item, instead of a simple percentage of MSRP.
    * You may think that you can't sell broken things, but there's still a market for repairable items or items that can be scavenged for parts. The biggest repair market on eBay is smartphone repair.
    * Keep in mind that there are listing and selling fees associated. Fortunately, the listing fees are waived for the first 200 items listed each month. The selling fee still exists, so you may want to include that in your selling prices to recoup your profit.

    Sad that you knocked the pressure cooker. I love mine!! They actually save a lot of money because they transform cheap ingredients like dried beans and tougher cuts of meat into delicious meals and they use way less electricity/ gas because they cook high and fast which is why they’re popular in poorer countries/ places that use gas.

    Hey guys! Quick question, did you end up disclosing in your listings that the items came off of a return pallet?

    • @JAMIEANDSARAH
      @JAMIEANDSARAH  3 роки тому

      Yes on FB marketplace we did disclose that. On eBay we just marked them “open box” 👍

    You work from home, the mailman has to come to your home to give you mail. When the mailman comes to you porch give him your mail. Wow that was easy

      Shipping large items like these through USPS would cost a fortune.
