We know how to convert the point -slope form to slope -intercept form of equation of a line. I think we convert slope -intercept form to point -slope form as follows - f(x)=x+8 y=x+8 y=1(x-1)+8+1 y=1(x-1)+9 (y - 9)=1(x-1).
OK, but how do you know that the slope is one? I’m sure it’s obvious to you but it’s not obvious to me so I wanna know how you got it. You said that the table was not relevant to the equation.
