I'm 64 and in 2006 my son made a CD for me that had the Frontline and Hypnotized cuts on it. I am still blown away by your kick and tom combos on those tracks. Pure magical thunder. It sounds like a Harley kicking off. I think you're still one of the best percussionists in America. Your resume is astounding. Incidentally I went all through school with Chris "Whipper" Layton of SRV and Double Trouble / Arc Angels fame. I played sax in school and jokingly blame my hearing loss on Chris. I hope these Covid days are keeping you safe and busy.
Lester Estelle Lester, I LOVE that you're telling the world that you crack cymbals. Most people will say "nah man that's bad technique!" But it's part of it! Also, I'm sure you use thicker cymbals. That crash has a huge sound, not because it looks huge, but because it's got a great amount of body. I have a 19" medium weight cymbal that I use as my crash-ride multiple times a week. I've had it for almost a year with no cracks!

ha, fair enough. ive become a loud drummer and have cracked 2 splashes. BTW LOVE the new Pillar, please continue to make music with Pillar.
