🇸🇮 Ptuj, Celje and Maribor - Slovenia | Europe's Hidden Gem

- Time to say goodbye to the beautiful Slovenia!
Our last stop was in the towns of Ptuj, Celje and Maribor, where we were again impressed how charming and well preserved they were, we could not believe Slovenia had so many hidden gems, what a country! The two beautiful castles in Ptuj and Celje had stunning views from the top for us to appreciate and take memorable pictures.
Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia, just after Ljubljana, and is a good mix of a laid-back town and the hustling industrial city. They also produce one of the best wines in the country.

Great video you guys! It’s so much easier to talk to the camera with no one around haha. We always get up early for the good light and fewer people. I am disappointed we missed these unique towns. Celje looked especially beautiful! Good work! 👊 What was your favorite?
Haha thanks, guys! Definitely a lot easier with no one around, and with another person with you as well, because doing it by yourself is even 10x worse lol... Celje was definitely nicer than Ptuj, which was also really cozy but it's a big shame we didn't have any footage to show :(... Maribor was not so special as the other two, but it was a lot nicer than we heard, everybody was saying it was too industrial, dirty and that we should not visit, but it turned out to be nice as well, just a different vibe :)...

@ Whoever told you that about Maribor must literally be out of his/her mind. It is one of the nicest cities in this part of Europe, in my opinion. I would also highly recommend Čakovec and Varaždin, not as big, but both with relatively big and well preserved city centers.

Hey Anoop! Well it's hard to know since we were there just one afternoon, but we saw plenty of young people and a lot going on in the city, it seems to be fun living there 😉

Izvir savinje
