So happy that you posted again! 💕 As someone working through the diagnosis process of chronic illness and worsening symptoms, I haven’t been able to come to terms yet with how debilitating chronic pain and fatigue can be, and still very much judge myself for not being able to push through and go about my responsibilities or plans. You sharing your experience and your feelings on it made me feel less alone and a little less ashamed for having to cancel plans to often. I know it’s not as cheery as you usually are, but it is so helpful. Thank you for your vulnerability!

Oh I'm sooo sorry that you're going through that too, I really do get it 🧡 I've been unwell for years and still try to keep up with 'healthy' people and am hard on myself for not being as productive as them, I have to remind myself sometimes to be gentler with myself and more realistic about my capabilities - it's an accomplishment to get anything done, really! Super glad that I could help in that area, please never feel ashamed, cancelling plans can make you feel sooo flaky but the people who love you will understand and there's nothing you can do. I appreciate that more than I can say, thank you! 💗
Thank you so much for including the realities of your chronic illness in this vlog. Having an invisible illness can feel so isolating. I’m a fairly new spoonie, (I’ve had long covid/ME/CFS for just over 2 years now) and I completely sympathise with you.
The disappointment of missing out is the absolute worst. I’m so sorry that you were feeling unwell on your trip. Hopefully the times you got to spend with family and friends outweigh the crappy days in bed. 💗💗💗

Aren't the pink dresses just everything, I'm obsessed 😍 aww I'm so glad you thought so, it really was such a cute wholesome family trip, I loved every single day of it 💛 already missing them! Ah sorry that you can relate, I know how gutting it is, I feel like I've gotten so good over the years at putting a brave face on and being smiley even when I feel really unwell but then sometimes you just can't push through the pain/fatigue. Totally, it's super sad but you almost don't want to dwell on it because it's like what's done is done, you know? Got to just make those tough decisions then commit to resting! It really was such an adorable Airbnb, the bed was honestly one of the most comfy beds I have EVER slept in, I need to message the owner and find out the mattress brand haha! I wanted to reach out and say like many others I really value you showing both the nice things and the real things in life. It doesn't come across negative at all. I wish you didn't have to go through chronic illness but as someone just diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and feeling poorly before treatment on top of an existing chronic illness, I find you talking about your struggles makes me feel more "normal" and less alone.
