@In2Movies, ❤😂👑🇬🇧 LMBO, Im loving this, I love a good laugh and once I start it's hard to stop, thanks for uploading and sharing. This humor reminds me of (S.N.L.), I do enjoy The Royal Family In The U.K., It's April 24, '2024, The late Queen Elizabeth ll has passed away for over 1 year now, & also ❤ Princess Diana❤ is so truly missed, & Q.E.ll she will be remember, The longest Reigning Monarch. Love from The United States of America.🇬🇧👑💯🤣
@@in2moviesI'm back... I am only an hour in (I am trying to resist the urge to marathon), and have not seen the two "Carry On" staples, Kenneth Williams or Charles Hawtrey. As I was unfamiliar with "Carry On Laughing," until it popped up on UA-cam, I am wondering, had they left the cast by the time this was made, or have I not reached their episodes, yet? Thank goodness my favorites Joan Simms and Hattie Jacques have appeared!😊
Carry On Laughing.... Sadly In Title Only!! I love the movies (Well most of them), they're Comedy Classics, but this is just dire!! The writing is atrocious, tired & unfunny gags, not least helped by that God Awful laughter track! Not a patch on the movies, Absolute Crap!! The only tv Carry On Special worth watching is Carry On Christmas ( the first one ) as well as the usual team it also had guest artist the Late Great Frankie Howered, now there was a true comedy legend unlike that pathetic Jack ( One Trick Pony ) Douglas, couldn't stand him, as funny as a head on collision. I know there are plenty who enjoy these tv episodes, each to their own.
Fantastic , the carry on films are better yes , but these little shows are a welcome extra, the usual slapstick dirty postcard humor, that has now fallen out of favor with the modern political correctness brigade
Agreed. Love these but still prefer the movies, with Screaming being my favourite. As long as we have sane commenters like you and knowledgeable uploaders like @in2movies, then saucy humour and postcard naughtiness will never die. I believe the tide is turning though. God bless.
@@anthonyireland6108 But it didn't have to be garbage either. It dominated for too long. It set a poor tone for two decades. Fine people want to switch off and not think sometimes but not all the time and what about the people who have no problem understanding and enjoying humour that is about more than double entendres, they deserve to be catered for too. We're not all simple
It was right for the time... if you were around back then you'd have had Peter Cook, The Pythons doing more cerebral humour. The carry ons united the masses, simple comedy elevated by the greatest comic actors of the last century. I personally don't find this series funny at all, but the films were great, it was pop culture that provided joy for millions.
Not really. If you treat all the Carry On films as if they are all equally bad, you are hard of thinking. The 1960's productions were mostly excellent as stand-alone films (although "Cowboy" was a bit ropey).

Miss the carry on films, but sometimes they are on the telly
The audience don't seem to get the reference in the tableau and question at 37:14. Very cleverly done!

I will remember Bernard bresslaw as gort the giant in hawk the slayer
He was also in Krull as the cyclops.
Never knew there was a TV show.
Oh yes ❤ the 1970's was the most popular decade for the carry-ons
it's a gift🍽
I miss Kenneth Williams
they should have left it to the films
I somewhat agree. The movies were absolute classics. This is more like for fans only.
😂😂😂
Margaret Nolan should of been in these
watchable at best great cast but the scripts are poor imo
nothing like a lot of nonsence
rubbish
Carry On was a dark chapter in British humour. Childish rubbish, all of it. Comedy for the hard of thinking
Carry on humour was never meant to be subtle or sophisticated , that was the point

I felt sorry for poor Hattie Jacques... That horrible trombone music that would come on every time she entered a scene. So dehumanising.

Corny bad acting cue card lines watching rubbish 😩
