Maybe it’s a very unpopular opinion, but I loved Chuck in S5, he apologized to Blair, went to therapy and tried his best to become a better person, dedicated to charity, animals and self-improvement. He was very mature and I felt bad for him because of the way he was treated.
I agree. In Season 5, Chuck was just different. He was dealing with his own heartbreak. He was doing his best to accept Blair's marriage to Louis. He kept his distance from her. Chuck barely saw Blair. When he received the invitation to Blair's wedding, he hid it.
