- After the first episode, we are NOT going to visit those well-known places in JB by Singaporeans! This time, our Malaysian producer is taking us around JB to try food that ONLY locals know! Sadly, our boss injured his back and wasn't able to join this episode! We tried the spicy wanton mee, kway chap, chicken rice, and nasi lemak! Here are some places that I recommend.
Pasar Pasir Putih food court: you can find all sort of chinese food like Bak Kut Teh, wantan mee, hokkien mee, prawn mee, bee hoon laksa, char kway teow, lor mee, satay bee hoon, mee siam, teochew style curry rice, chai tow kway, kway chap , etc
Pasar Mitra Raya: can go to mitra kopitiam they have nice porridge, chai tow kway, Prata, Nasi Lemak, Lor mee, and many more
Mie Selat Panjang Ciau Kiat: have best Lor mee, wantan mee, bak chor mee, and curry png
More noodle and porridge: has great home made ban mian and frog porridge
Nasi Kari Regency: have great curry png, kway chap, and nasi lemak
Penuin wet market food court: their food court have lot hidden gem known for mee siam, wantan mee, bak chor mee, lor mee, and mee pok
Bak kut teh: try these 2 places Bak Kut Teh at Astro Kopitiam near penuin wet market (pasar penuin) and Simpang Empat Bak Kut Teh at pasar pasir putih food court
Dapur Pontianak: has authentic indo chinese (kalimantan style) food their must order is Choi Pan or Chai Kwee this is Kalimantan style dim sum
Hope you guys visit batam and try all these food

The three of you have a very good dynamic, with shermaine balancing out the chaos at times, i laughed so much throughout the video, i think Ryan really needs to concentrate on the backend and leave the hosting to you three instead! Pine Chicken Rice! Was recommended by a local JB friend and went to try few weeks ago. Ordered their steam chicken and it’s really tender! The rice is very fragrant, and the green chilli goes especially well with the rice and meat. Their fried beancurd with thai chilli sauce is another must try! Beancurd is very crispy, chilli sauce has a sweet and sour taste that compliments perfectly with the beancurd. Overall, definitely value for money and recommended if you have craving for chicken rice at JB!

Tampoi Wanton is being overshadowed by Kedai BKT beside, people usually eat BKT instead of Wonton mee but Tampoi is great indeed, infact the other coffeeshop beside has great soupy food too. A must try
