Getting the intersection curve on whole surfce instead of getting it only on the circumference of the surface extruded part. can you help me out with it?
My brother, I cannot figure out for the life of me how you have made the swept cut at 11:53. You clicked on a centerline, and a triangle appeared. Whenever I try adding a triangle with the polygon tool, I cannot attach relations between it and the origin. I've spent the last 3 hours searching everywhere trying to figure out how you've done it with zero luck - my only hope is that you respond to my comment. However you did this, please let me know if at all possible
What I did is Once i had my triangle with the right dimensions i CTRL selected both the helix and the midpoint of the constrcution line for the triangle. This opened the properties tab and I was able to select pierce. It gave me an error at first but i used the diagnostic tool and it gave me a solution for the issue . I accepted the suggested solution and it all worked fine.
very good video. Could use some quick edits to it tho. Slightly frustrating having to follow you through a mistake, and then following you to re do it. overall tho thanks for uploading 9/10
