Sounds like they are trying to discourage rental business and being an entrep....but now a days these people who are entrep are the ones that are thriving and growing. People with VUL, knowing how expensive the premium is, are lazy. I am sorry. But if you need protection then get term life insurance then invest the rest in MP2, Coop or be an entrepreneur. You need to get your boots on the ground. You just need to take some time to educate yourself to learn how money works. I had 3 VULs and I gave them all up. It was a huge loss at first but I did not regret that decision.I have been increasing my savings fund like never before and investing more in MP2 and will soon invest in COOP. And my MP2 has been growing and so far i am satisfied with the return. I have funded my own health insurance (equivalent to my previous coverage in VUL) and is now growing in a safer type of investment. God willing, in 7 more years, I will get my desired financial independence number that will allow me to retire early at an early age comfortably.
Vul is not an investment. It's an insurance./expense. I stopped paying my 2 year vul. Talo ako ng 90k. But it's okay. Mas Malaki kasi mawawala salon if pagpatuloy ko pa for the next 8 years.

VUL is the worst performing investment as of this time (from 2018-2021). I have 3 VULs and all are negative since 2018.. lalo n ngyn 2021 super bagsak
