Showing procedural random ponies in action. Still lots of bugs but getting better.

Seeing how princesses constantly ignore ass questions and answer about their father instead certainly brings up some accurate lore parental issues indeed.

Celestia is very secretive of revealing who has more cake. She can't do that to her little sister.
I can see the mares are having a tricky time with the accent, hearing "father" instead of "fatter".

This is impressive to see how far it has come. Luna is so small next to Celestia must be just after the first few episodes of My little pony. Also how they threatened you was funny and scary.
Those ponies trotting off at 4:32 reminds me of Oblivion's initial concept for Radiant AI. I'd love to just see the ponies going off on their own made-up adventures and quests that you can just check up on to see what they're up to from time to time.

This reminds me so much of Oblivion dialogue in the best way. This project is hilarious, and I look forward to messing around in this sandbox. Hopefully there could be more to this, like quests, or activities? Multiplayer might be awesome too, but for a single dev that sounds like a lofty goal. I wish you luck and I look forward to catching your updates on ko-fi!
I thought this was really cute and cool, and then the bugs revealed the demons within the game. That is absolutely terrifying. Now I'm even more on board

Great video! If you don't mind, I have some questions about the technical details. What LLM is under the hood? Is it Llama, Mistral, or something else? Is it fine-tuned specifically for this project, or do you just prepend the prompt with relevant info about the world? Also, will it be more integrated with the game in the future? For example, appending the current location and surroundings to the prompt or providing the model with a list of possible actions seems feasible. What do you think?
The model is llama3-8b-instruct-exl2-q8 with an r32 lora trained on show scripts. About location, it's not doing it now, but what comes to mind first is using a multimodal llm with vision capabilities. Or maybe something else entirely idk. It already has action list and does use it, but i didn't work on it much.
@@blob81 Thanks for your answers! Vision model seems to be a little overkill for the task if you ask me. I'm not an expert in this field, but wouldn't it be easier to just detect objects like other games do, with several raycasts per model to check visibility, and add them to some sort of visible objects list? Although this approach may have its disadvantages too, such as poor understanding of object interaction. Anyways, you're doing a great work!

This is really cool! cant wait to see more from this project!!! i love the idea of being able to walk around and explore ponyville while interacting with the residents. there should probably be a way to have the intended pony respond to you after you ask a question though- as the first pony you threw in the river (lol) answered the question intended for Celestia. I hope you continue florishing this concept!!!!

This video inspired me to start a project of making maybe some small unity games features AI chats with my ocs. I have a friend who is savvy with coding and I'm a Game Art major. Ai is crazy fun

Why don’t they do something like this with Skyrim. Would love see better AI voice in it haha. But still cool, shows where AI can improve some things and games. Even if still kinda limited atm.
Pretty sure theres a mod like that for Skyrim already, and with the voice actors extensive library, it sounds quite smooth.
