That was an aside to McCain. This administration has supported the military budget and delivered on military pay raises. Actions speak louder than words.

Don't be so sure. Think about what he said about John McCain. His father Fred Sr. said he would disown Fred Jr. if he joined the military. General John Kelly already admitted that Trump said "I don't get it, what was in it for them" when looking at a military cemetery. Yes, Trump understands that funding the Military and VA makes him look good with his base but Mr. Bone Spurs does not understand the concept of serving something other then himself. These can both be said as “dead soldiers are losers” but heck if the context doesn’t matter. “Trump doesn’t want wounded solider to march” or Trump: “I don’t want wounded soldiers to have to march”... show me audio with context and I will be on board but context matters. I hear both versions of how you portray those statements, interesting take and food for thought. However, how do you contextualize his statement that 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood are “suckers” for getting killed? I'm currently serving. Now just from where I'm sitting it looks as though the military whether that is officers or enlisted overwhelmingly support Trump. Just go to any military base and you will see what I'm talking about. Also before you enter the military base you will see what I'm talking about. How are they polling active duty officers and and enlisted if active duty officers and enlisted are not allowed to participate in polls?

I had a dear military iraq war veteran friend located in Arizona who died because she couldn't get treatment for lung cancer brought on by toxic garbage burning on U.S. military camps during the Iraq War. John McCain did nothing to help these people. The VA on Arizona was terrible with people waiting for months to get an appointment to be seen. He was a neocon that had little regard for real people.
Trump actually solved many of the VA issues that would have probably saved my friends life if they had been implemented earlier.

Rumor isnt fact and saying it wouldnt surprise you is NOT a validation for the accusation. Trump has shown tremendous support for the armed forces and i think at this point people are just throwing any rumor possible out there in hopes of it sticking and media coverage/outrage.

As a person who has served, it sounds like something a draft dodger would say. I like his stance on China. Trump is a draft dodger, and talked bad about a living P.O.W.. my father served in Vietnam and flew a P.O.W.-M.I.A. flag in front of his house, and now that he is gone, I fly the same flag. I know Trump or anyone running would not do the same. I am pretty left in some circumstances, but anybody who has never enlisted shouldn't be allowed to run for, or hold office.
I remember being the CA guard with the border mission and there were intel reports that the cartels offered bounties for NG soldiers as well. It's a common tactic to push people who might be on the fence over to the opposing side.
