"Leaving Mission Zone" is the scariest enemy in the game xD i know you and borislav have spent a crazy amount of time on this build, and i'm up for it -- gonna take some vacation days around thanksgiving and binge this route for my fresh new PC copy of the game.
😆 Definitely scary when you're going so fast, all you have time for is watch the screen go black and respawn you at a gawd-awfully FAR spawn point that's 10 minutes play time away!! 🤣🤣 The main game doesn't stand a hope in hell once Deek is this OP! Have fun! 👍👊😁
Very nicely done GG. I like that you only take out the minimum amount of hordes that you can get away with (as a lot of people try to avoid them), and a lot of great info throughout the video. A very entertaining watch.
@borislav247 You are a scholar and a gentleman, sir! 😜😆👍 Always appreciate hearing from you, my friend! On my next run (not for YT), I'm gonna go back and clear everything out that I can!! All of Crater, Hwy 97, Lost and Iron Butte- they shall all fall!! *maniacal laugh* BTW, I see you are creeping toward 12K!! 🤯 That's so awesome to see your growth in 2024! Cheers!
@@greyghostgamerz Thank you my friend, and I've just checked out your video on the stairs at the Sawmill. Glad I was not drinking, or my monitor would have taken another soaking, lol. I wish you well on your destruction off camera of Days Gone.
Just started a new game 2day so I can do this. I’m about 3/4way through a NO DEATH run in survival 2+ so far fairly easy with all weapons and gear carried over. Always wanted 2 try a no death run on survival 2 from square 1. Love ur work
That sounds like an amazing run attempt!! 💪👊 Gotta say that, going forward, I'm going with this way first. On my next run, I'll probably clear everything I can before I "start" the game, even Lost Lake and Iron Butte. 😆🤣 Just work the game completely backwards!! 🤔😃
Appreciate the kind words and the comment! 🙏👍 Yeah, which is why there are SO many in that region. 🤣 Guess I gotta work on my sarcasm during my narration! 😉😆😁
This is awesome. Days Gone is a masterpiece and these tricks to use in game features to move around the map opens up new ways to enjoy the game. I appreciate all the time you must have put into this GGG. Just escaping from the Cascade region to show up in Wizard Island took me a few days to cover. It is interesting that even in a spot out of normal game play, the marauders will still shoot at you and freakers will still try to chase you. No place is safe from the red dot.
I have a video of me taking out the Lobert Horde, but I'm on the same fence line but behind the portapotties. Saw Borislav do it so I had to give it a try.
An excellent video. I normally play through to get the SMP9 early or cross over to Iron Butte straight away to get the US556, but this will be my next game. For me you tick all the boxes - US556, SMP9, RPD, Superior Metal Axe, Carry That Weight and the Level Two engine from Diamond Lake. One question. Does Deacon automatically make use of the Med Kits? I ask because they seem to disappear from my inventory over time unless I replenish them.
Wow! Thank you for such a well-articulated comment! I appreciate the enjoyment you got out of the video and the strategic inspiration to go through this on your next play through!! Very humbled! 😃🙏🙏 To answer, if you use the "heal" prompt, it will raid your Med Kit inventory first, so if you want to restore health, use the weapon wheel to choose the bandages or health cocktails. If you're under attack too, the "heal" prompt might be more convenient but choosing the weapon wheel slows time anyway to give you a chance to regain health. 😁👍👊
Interesting and entertaining video GGG 👍🏻 but I personally don’t like using glitches/exploits to get to maps early. That’s just not my thing or play style. If I’m playing a fresh start I like to play the game in the correct order of events. I still unlock the SMP9 early that’s pretty much the only game changer weapon you need for early game lol. Oh and the auto shotgun. But this was so fun to watch and i know lots of people will use this method.
Have you seen the trick where you shoot one of the freakers in the booby trap in the head and they won't attack you, just curious. Love these vids, trying this on my next playthrough
Thanks for the watch and dropping by here in the comments! 🙏 Yes! It's the last freaker you see attacking me in the video. If you shoot it in the head just before you venture through the gauntlet, you get through unscathed. 👍 I just didn't bother, just to show what happens 😁
Stamina and Health injections are there for a reason. Even bike and skills upgrade like carry the weight but people ignore all Nero stuff and then complain it's crappy tough game. blah blah. They don't upgrade weapons and bike and cry through out the game and suffer. Lol
Great! Thanks for spotting that and making the call. 🙏👍 I honestly could've sworn (altho I am relying on a continually decaying memory 😜😆) that one of the categories requires all three Skills to be chosen before unlocking the next tier. I thought it might be Ranged but hey, if it only takes two, awesome!! 💪🫡👊
What happens if you don't rescue Boozer immediately and just watch the Rippers for 30 minutes or so? Also, can you go around Boozer and the Rippers, having their little fun time together, and go up the road to see if the hoard is coming down before the scene cuts where you have to jump on the bike and flee?
Another very informative vid!..just one question about entering Crater Lake region early if i may.....i have been in the region for a while..been across the map in all directions trying to make my map show more than just the northern entry spot on Wizard island..my map does not even show the entire Wizard island itself..nor as far south as the Spruce lake Nero checkpoint which i have already secured long ago..when viewing your crater lake early entry vids, i see that your map shows the entire Wizard island area and Spruce lake Nero checkpoint also..am i doing something wrong..any help would be greatly appreciated..thx once again my Canadian friend...*
Appreciate so much you watching and getting value from the vid! 🙏👍 The "fog of war" should reveal every part of the map that you ride through, as you go. To clear the fog of war for "regions", you have to defeat the marauders at the Ambush Camps, go inside the bunker and "read" the map. 😁 Hope that helps! Otherwise you got some funky glitch goin' on! 🤔🤷♂️
If you collect the maximum number of boxes of nails you can carry, even though you will never use them for construction of a melee weapon, won't they cease to be annoying when you see them since they will remain red for the rest of the game?
🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, probably!! 👍 I mean, I guess it kinda makes sense in the apocalypse that nails would be everywhere, esp when the world is need of fortifications. Just a cheeky, not really a bother, irritation! 😁😜👍
Start your Survival II run from scratch. Take out four hordes to get the mil spec smp9. Do the bike glitch at Lost Lake to get into the closed Iron Butte to get the US556 and MG55. ENJOY.
What's the deal if you try to retreat from a hoard inside an MMU that they can break into the unit despite your locking the door? Is that a glitch? That happened to me at Saw Mill once.
Oh hell yeah! 💀 MMU doors will bust open if you have a horde after you! 😬 It surprised the heck outta me the first time it happened! I was like "wut"??? Then, you just run! 🤣🤣
@@ztp2130 🤣Yeah, I don't think it's something to overthink; "opening" an MMU was just put in as a minor obstacle to overcome, game play-wise, and not really a fortress to use other than a point you can move time ahead and save the game(?), which you can do at your bike, so.... 🤔😉
Yes, absolutely!! You literally just follow the same path in reverse...and not have to worry about running outta gas once you've snagged the upgrade! 😉👍
You can actually enter the Crater Lake region in a few spots but the one I show in this vid, there's TWO at the Rimview Ranch Infestation zone! I just didn't stick around after burning the nests out! 😁 In all, Crater Lake has 10 spots to pick them up!
I’ve done this twice now and I can’t ever pan my camera past the cascade region. Bringing up the map will just center on the region and not deacons position. It kind of sucks because the map is useless at that time, but luckily I know the area well enough to find everything. I’m not sure if it’s a PC thing or just a me thing. Hopefully if anyone else has done this on Pc please let me know if you have the same issue!
@Imperious123 I'm like you whereby I know the terrain and landmarks pretty well that I can make my way around the game without a map, but holy heck, if the cursor doesn't even center on Deek, that's bru-tal!!! 😲😤
😆😆 I know! They're just Everywhere!! 🤣 Altho, tbh, I'm finding smoke bombs to be more and more useful in a lot more scenarios as I roam around and take on different enemies. 🤔😁
There is a perk of having a Nitrous 1 upgrade from Manny that helps with the jump...but it's not available, from what I have heard others say, if you only have the standard version of the game.
@@greyghostgamerz I find this clip in particular kind of annoying since in one of my recent videos I showcased that you needed Engine II and tried the jump with standard engine + engine I 😂
@@Zombie_Hulk_Gaming 😆 Ugh, IKR?? I had someone tell me a similar thing when I said in another vid you couldn't make the jump with Nitrous 1 and then I find out you can!!! 🙄😜 BUT that's the great thing about coming together and sharing info, we ALL eventually learn something new and get to exploit it in future play-throughs!! 👍 Rock on!! 🖖👊
You mentioned avoidance of the criers several times in this (excellent) video. Would using the incendiary crossbow bolt be the best technique? Regarding this video I was hoping it would be another 10 hours longer to show you mowing down everything in the Cascades, after you returned, with your maxed out weapons load... I would find that hilarious.
Appreciate the kind words, thanks! 😁🙏 Yeah, when available, use the fire bolts just from the perspective of long distance attack and resource management; it's a 3-1 ratio on how far kerosene goes with the bolts vs a molotov. 👍 BTW, actually, yes, I will be starting a new series taking on the game OP AF in the new year! 💥🔥😜
@@greyghostgamerz thank you for the confirmation about using the fire bolts. Before, when I played the game(s), I used to do kamikaze runs at the nests with Molotov cocktails and would always get torn up by the Hell Birds. Watching your initial play through with the crossbow, and your strenuous avoidance of the crier nests, caused that to click in my mind (i.e., use the crossbow, with the flaming bolts option, to take out the nests from distance). Yes! Please do a full length play through, end to end, where you gather the powerful weapons as your first pre-mission. Then unleash holy hell in the north. Several of your videos, where you did the walkthrough on how to go down south then return to the Cascades with the high-end weapons, would end there and I was like "Oh no! I want to see you steamroll everyone in the northern regions now!!! 😭" Can't wait for the full length video.
