Hard meat...but very very necessary for the church to grow in christian maturity and Christ-likeness. The preacher has very correctly and clearly laid out the reasons for lack of spiritual discernment. This is hard meat, no doubt...but this message is much needed in churches today, especially in these perilous time. People perish because of lack of the knowledge of the Word of God. The pain of the preacher is evident in each word he spoke. Thank you Pastor for this sermon. It serves as a warning for God's children everywhere.

Well said pastor. High time for spiritual discernment among our churches. Ravenous wolves are on the rise. C. H. Spurgeon said this once- there will arise clowns who will entertain the goats, instead of shepherds tending to the sheep. How true!
The Scripture is far above: 1. The Church 2. Church leaders 3. Human reason 4. Our feelings 5. Human experiences 6. Human/Church traditions 7. God honours the Word more than His Holy Names (Psalm 138:2)
John 10:4-5 [4] When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. [5] A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” Everything ultimately boils down to this whether you truly belong to the Good Shepherd or not .If you are one of his sheep you will want to listen to his voice. If a person doesn’t enjoy the faithful expository preaching,it is one of the signs that he/she doesn’t belong to the Good Shepherd. As C H Spurgen has rightly said,”there will come a time when instead of the shepherds (pastors) feeding the flock, clowns will entertain the goats”.
Some are in a habit of listening to the itching of their ears from many false teachers to make them flow on emotions that they cannot digest hard food of the sripture.
