as an active Ippo main who hasn’t played in a little while I am willing to start playing the game daily again if I get a rework
As an IPPO main too I agree, using ippo now feels like a slower version of hands slow it's just not the same it just too.
Definitely needs a triumphant return just like they are cooking it on the manga.

Ippo please I fr like the skill you mentioned that can be added that makes the character do a quick Dempsey roll and if u get hit while doing it you do a counter punch with insane dmg
[potential manga spoilers] Ippo, hitman, and wolf need a rework. I’d rather not get passive ippos, unfun match ups against hitman, and I’d like to see wolf not be such a “do white fang and back up” kind of style.
Solution: Ippo gets a weave ability, wolf has the hien ability, and hitman gets a cool passive that the more heavy hits he takes the stronger and faster his flickers become rather than him having his flickers become fast and strong at the start.

Both counter and ippo dont have much going on right now. Counter, ippo's rival style, should also get a rework along with ippo tbh.

Shotgun. I even got an entire idea for it. And I’ll edit this comment if I get one singular like on it. Actually every like I get I’ll do a rework for every style in the game multiple times.
Shotgun style:
A swift, tactical and prodigy outboxer. You have the ability of the shotgun barrage, that will have your punches and your opponents soar like the dragon you are named after, however you suffer from a glass jaw. Ultimate: target practice
Shotgun barrage rework:
So first up the m1s have more stun but that the only buff that isn’t related to the shotgun barrage. So first is the big one, it can alternate, not normally like “oh it hits right then it hits left” no, instead after whatever punch you throw the opposite hand throws the barrage. When you dodge on the same side as the barrage you get hit. If you get hit while you aren’t blocking YOU WILL TAKE THE ENTIRE THING TO THE FACE. Whenever you miss 2 of them, it will be cancelled so you can’t back dash and punish it. However there is counter play so here that is. If you block you can still unblock but you can’t block again so you can lessen the damage to basically nothing at the cost of your block. If you dodge on the opposite side, yes it does get cancelled but it’s long enough to counter the shotgun user. The cooldown on the barrage is larger now, I don’t know how long but someone tell me how long the original shotgun barrage is.
Other than the shotgun barrage, all strengths and weaknesses are basically the same. Every other style will now be me commenting on this comment, so like at the replies for the other ones ok?

Charge style:
You’re a powerful adversary, enough to be the rival of the fastest boxer in the featherweight division. You don’t know the meaning of giving up and always go forward in a fight no matter the odds with your stampede ability. Ultimate: Raging bull
Stampede rework:
This is hard because it might be worse than it is but here we go. You have two versions, the m1 version and the m2 version. The m1 version is similar to the existing one but instead of going back slightly then forward, you dart forward and can even do it through block, but it doesn’t drain stamina and the slowness is less if the opponent is blocking. The m2 version is an uppercut that at the start can literally perfect dodge somebody which if you perfect dodge with the m2 version, it will increase the damage and slowness, but it is vulnerable if you get blocked so be careful.
Also the m2s alternate, other then that it’s the same as it usually is, tell me how you like it

They gotta revamp ippo, hope they add current manga ippo into the game or add some aspects to the style itself like the game like the weaving
For ippo, they should fix the range and make their back dashes weak or none at all (due to passive ippo’s)
Ability: Gazelle Punch: Using this will have a certain glow on your fist (to let ppl now it’s the gazelle punch ability) it’ll have a somewhat long time for it to connect (similar to smash m2) but if it lands your m1’s will mimic the Dempsey roll (pretty much like how when you use charges stampede you start doing short body shots) and will have Anti-heal (similar to Hawk or slugger) but it’ll take more stamina than a normal m1 would and your opponent can block during it but will have slight increase block dmg
And the Gazelle Punch meter charges based on how Aggressive you are (landing m1’s, M2’s perfect dodge etc)

Ippo should get an ability like the Crushing Liver Blow which slows and does antiheal but itself has a slow startup (so you might to use it when you do a perfect dodge) It also has long cooldown but for each Liver Blow hit , the next punch Ippo hits (either m1 / m2) next will surely guaranteed hit but little to no dmg but stuns enough for a m1 chain
Hitman because Hitman is the driest Legendary ever, the only thing unique about it is the jabs.
It's not only the jab it's about the range and passive ahh player who won't attack unless you attack first
also applies to ippo fi you think about it

Hopefully they can add a randomizer for the emotes you have unlocked to flexibly try different ones instead of having to change all the time

@@electro2888it's fairly decent, there's the fast but predictable m1, there's also the lack of mobility and stamina. The only great thing about it without any downside is the average damage and the range
"but backdash" everyone can do the same thing, and the thing is, hitman is one of the few styles that has a weak dash therefore they'll most likely run out of stamina before they can do anything else

I think ippo deserves a rework the most. I would love if it got a "demsey roll" mechanic where you sway left to right and it could act as a counter if you get hit by it. Or maybe instead when your on your last knockdown you get a buff called "Inner Light" Where your eyes glow green and you do increased damage and can take 3 more heavy attacks before you go down at 1 hp.

Ippo could use some gimmic since its epic style and most of epic rarity have some kinda effect, i think they should put like a duck mechanic so simulate depsy roll since he is most know by that or other idea since ippo dose a lot of combacks maybe do something when his hp is low. Thoes are my takes, but you can commet your own.

Honestly, ippo is very cool for me, like ik it doesn't have a gimmick and most of the players use it for running so yeah, a rework would be cool when it comes to ADDING a gimmick for him bc i use ippo's style in an aggressive way, so they don't have time to move bc of it's movement.

Is it just me or should ippo have an ability that is the depsy roll. And if it lands it does a couple heavys not a lot but it’s has like a counter thing like if someone hits it you can depsy roll them and depending on what they throw it does that damage and more so if it like gets hit with a heavy it would do the damage of half of a heavy but it’s not all done and you can’t do nothing just like it does the initial damage but you can heal it back so it’s not so broken but also so that if you don’t land the roll there’s a counter damage which hits a lot harder

slugger is fine. They can get their rework later. what’s slugger should basically do is whatever they hit you multiple times with M1 or M2 when you’re unblocked it stack up more and more damage they should also give slugger more of a upright stance just a little bit all of this attached should also be a little bit slower. It shouldn’t have the M2 anymore. It’s M2 should still be strong.

Ippo, tbh would be cool if they reworked him to have a skill so that he can perform Dempsey roll and be unhittable while doing it.Also whe n u attack it would form a Dempsey roll type of hit and amount of hit depending on how many weaves u did while in Dempsey roll motion.(example like 5 weaves=5 hits in Dempsey roll motion)

Honestly, when the creator adds in more knockdown animations, they may make videos of the game more interesting because some of the knockdowns can be humorous or adding in determination. Here are some knockdown animations that are split in each catagory:

The more punches you land the more faster and longer the Dempsey roll will last
I'm not sure on how you can activate it but for now you need to dodge left to right for the Dempsey roll to activate.

I think hands low should get a rework tbh. He was never meant to be a counter style, and Saeki doesn't really play for counters that much. He's a swift outboxer and should be as such.

i think ippo is kinda good right now since ippo in the anime doesnt have anything special beside his insane strength and speed, still i am fine with any style rework as long as it not freedom
i think hitman needs a rework as well, everyone has forgotten about him after freedom was added. Freedom is faster, better dodging and overall just better flicker jabs than hitman. Not to mention its just M1 button mashing, it drains the fun out of the game, i would know because I used it when i was starting the game. I think its aggressiveness also needs work bc its mostly turned into a passive style. But I see what you mean about Ippo.

Ippo should have 2x health and increase defense but a meter called, “Punch Drunk” that refreshes overtime. Every hit the meter goes up, and the more the meter goes up the slower bus attacks become.
