Nah the prices where good. The only shoes that where ridiculous where the colabs but even then the Jordan 4 off whites can go for 1800-2000. So even tho the collab prices are high they’re still super fair based on the market.

The Wire was one of the greatest shows ever. I'm an economist, so my favorite scene of the entire series was when the cop followed Stringer Bell to see what he was up to in the afternoons, and it turns out he was in an Economics class (to help him run his drug business).
Anyone who's studied macroeconomics in college knows that it would have no practical application in a street-level drug trade.

That class is where he learned about changing the name of the business or the product. Dope show.

That intro was legendary! Excellent episode, it was so cool hearing his perspective comparing the sneaker culture in London and NYC when he moved to the states.
Brits used to wear sneakers as function rather than fashion. The popularity of Basketball is a real driver for the shoe game in the US. Whereas that cultural impact did not really exist in the UK. You would have always seen more Air Max/Force and Adidas back in the day, but the game has changed now. Jordans are everywhere, mate!
Idris is always a must see and this was no difference.

Such a genuine, humble, down to Earth Guy. I had the pleasure of working with Idris on the new Luther (FILM) which should be out in late 2022 or 2023. We were filming and one the extras sprained their ankle. He halted the shooting, called the paramedics and checked to see if he was ok.
