Keep and eye on all of the tubing on this trailer. I had a header trailer from this manufacture. After a year or so of use, the tubing started cracking around all the welds. The tubing was several gauge sizes too thin. We welding it and put gussets in but that just moved the cracks further away from the original joint. We replaced it with an US made unit after just three years of use. The US unit was higher priced but it also had 800 lbs. more steel in it when you compared shipping weights.

I’ve run these trailers in west Texas, and we used grapples and loaded from the side of the trailer. Saved transmissions on the pickups.

Was looking at it and my first thought was droplegs like on an irrigation reel to wedge the trailer and save the truck.

I load 2 bales at a time with a bale spear. I block the trailer tires to keep from pushing the trailer. Never needed the back bar with the spear, the bales come right off.

Such a true statement when delivering to some Hay Buyers. You show up at their place and either they have tractor problems or they are slower than frozen molasses. Meanwhile you are left cooling your heels waiting. Great addition with that trailer. Dump, Take the Dough and Go baby. Time really IS Money

Looks built well enough for bales to me.

Great video! Congrats on getting the double hay trailer. It’s a life changer that’s for sure. Keep a close eye on your hub oil levels. Hard keeping seals from leaking. Wanting to convert mine to grease this year. Great video and keep them coming fam!

Like the trailer but surly you would load it two bales at a time with a wider twin bale spike on the tractor. I find it amazing what you guys are allowed to pull with s pickup truck. In the uk that would only be legal if pulled with a tractor 😮

The only things I don’t like about it is that you have to dump it from the front, I prefer it in the back with a foldable handle and that the cradles aren’t split in half. Smaller trailers are ok but with one that big it definitely makes it easier.

We had a 6 bale trailer like that years ago when we ran our cattle operation and it was a decent unit, lot of issues with the unloading mechanism on it which was different than the newer ones, but if we were going to be moving a lot of bales we’d hook up to a 32 ft flatbed and haul with it.

I haul with a automatic dodge all the time. Just put it in neutral and put a block in front of truck duals and duals on the trailer. Can leave the truck running. Keeps ac cool and let's transmission cool down

How do wet bearings hold up for you on a trailer after it sits for long periods of time without use? Just wondering, I had them on my fifth wheel trailer and had problems with dry bearings at the top. They were great as long as you did not sit around or I had to raise the axles and spin the wheels once a month. Went back to packed bearings which are serviced every 10,000 miles on 9,000 lb axles. Thanks

The barn is a 40x50 with 14 ft walls. The finish out will be a 20x30 area. Single bedroom and closet, bathroom, and kitchen with living room. Im not sure on the door manufacturer, but its a panel door with windows. It's a 14x12 and insulated. Pretty heavy dude and they installed a chain hoist roller upper doo hickey thing with it too.
