I was there, I was getting pelters in the boozer for saying if we played Naismith as a striker and not a winger he would score goals. Gets subbed on and the rest was history, great day.
@ Yeah Martinez spent all season playing inverted wingers who’d come central. Used to drive me mad but worked this day. Naismith was on the left, Kone on the right and Barkley central
What a side that was💙 Martinez had us playing attacking football, unlike this dinosaur we’ve got now, very underrated player was Naismith! The school of science is on its way back !
Yeah, but the fans hounded him out, the same way they then hounded out Silva at the first hint of a bad spell, and Koeman at the first hint of a bad spell, because the fans had no patience to let any manager build a team.
This was this Kiwi family's first ever trip to Goodison (my 2nd), I couldn't have asked for a better game for my boys to experience everything that is EFC & Goodison Park
Even though I'm a Man United fan... This Everton side and Arsenal under Wenger were amazing to watch and deserved more than what they achieved, at least Wenger won the golden Premier league trophy so that's a good thing.
Back when we had a team full of passion and hard work. No billionaires involved with a load of expensive players facing relegation, just a team of 11 hard workers
Bobby brown shoes had us playing some fantastic stuff, he'd have done extremely well with money to spend, had to get on his hands and knees to bring Lukaku in.
@kokolwin1996john Chelsea have won 6 league titles while Everton have won 9 so we don't need any lectures on who's the bigger club you clueless tourist. Chelsea were nothing but a Yo-Yo club with a dump of a ground before all the oil money arrived, not that you would ever have gone to Stamford Bridge in those days. Come to think of it, I've almost certainly been to more games at The Bridge than you ever will and I haven't been for 30 years
I'll have this team back in a heartbeat 💙
Naismith never got the credit he deserved, top player
Agreed.. Closest thing we've had to a Tim Cahill type player in my opinion, and how our attack misses that kind of player.
Didn't know what we had til we lost it. Good team, imagine having multiple strikers on the pitch against Chelsea!!!
Compared to the current lot, this team looked like world beaters. Let's hope we can bring this brand of attacking football back under the new owners.

Played on the wing though 😂
Bet ya did m8 😅
@@Mike12849no he never. He played in the centre on the pitch behind the strikers. Picked up every ball centrally to score.

Naismith was underrated for us
One of Everton’s favourites 💙💙

@@TheGiantKillers absolutely, this feller we have now useless absolutely useless!
Lol youre doing the same think you always do with mangers. There's not much else Dyche can do with this team.@raylangley4842
OMG Like watching Barcelona in their Prime after Dyche Ball. Had forgotten what passing looked like.
I was there to see the perfect hatrick headed then left foot then right foot loved him as a player gutted when he left
Gotta feel bad for Mo. makes a great run to only hurt himself.
Naismith the Scottish Messi.
It is hard to belive a year later Moshiri bought Everton compere this team here to the madness that followed

As a Chelsea fan, this defeat hurt me at the time. But I wish the best to Everton.
Almost made me thought this was the real (recent) game for a second 😭 still hoping🤞
what a team man those where the days
Loved naisy he was good. Sad he was sold to Norwich for 8mil

Never really realised how direct and quick thinking Naismith was
Ah memories. My wedding day 12.09.15
Evertoooon
Night and day to the current team… good players on the front foot, pass and move.. goal. Grumpy Jose made it perfect
Overlapping full backs. Just a memory. 🙃
Underated , Lovely Lad also.
They used to call Aroune Kone a 'traffic Kone' but he had levels that Beto can only dream of
My favorite🎉💙 🏆 ✊🏼
Once upon a time 💙
Naisy!
Back when we played attacking football. Not the dross of today
Back when we had a team full of passion and hard work. No billionaires involved with a load of expensive players facing relegation, just a team of 11 hard workers
💙💙💙
I thought we need to improve back then. Now, I'm wondering if we'll ever be this good again 😂
The era of no Caicedo & Enzo.
Wow. Everton. Attacking. Novel
Either I'm going blind on that pitch only two left on Everton books
07:16 need high IQ player to find Naismith
How we missed this everton team.
This is a sign that Beto needs to play for us on Sunday

Sigh. When Everton was actually good
BLUZE BROTHUZ ROLLIN OVER THE EVERTON 👉🤩👍❤️YA THO

Kone was better than Dcl
Bobby brown shoes had us playing some fantastic stuff, he'd have done extremely well with money to spend, had to get on his hands and knees to bring Lukaku in.
M.besic 😊
Palmer really saw this and said: "I can do better"! 😅
RS trolling can't help issuing shite comments.Put it back in your nappy soft lad
And now Everton will be playing championship football in their new shiny stadium.
So what. Jealous?
Why would you post this now. One would think you won against them
