Tree Ring Pour With Dala Craft Metallics Only

This was an experiment with local South African brand craft metallics - Dala. The paints flow beautifully- mixed with the Dala flow medium. The pouring mix was 1 part paint to 3 parts medium with a few drops of water- no silicone added ( the aim is not to get cells with this technique)- but rather beautifully formed ring patterns.
The painting was done on an mdf board.
The final painting was very dull- likely because the metallics don't work too well with the medium. However, this problem is solved with a good vanish top coat.
Dala paints are easily available in most paint art stores, stationery stores or you can purchase them directly from Dala. The metallic color range is great.
