The video title is obviously bullshit. There’s no way that Double Dragon is the most played game of all time.
Sorry about the title you didn't like, my friend let me tell you.. this game was as big as Super Mario in the 80's. In-fact this game becomes America's highest grossing game for 2 years in a row in 1988 and 1989.

For starters, Double Dragon wasn't as big as Super Mario in the 80s, anyone paying attention to video games knows this. As for being the "highest grossing game", do you care about how much money a game makes or do you care about what game is the most played? Most played means most amount of hours played. Highest revenue is something different, so what's your claim, that Double Dragon made the most money of all time, or that it was played the most hours of all time?

@@VideoGamingPlanet People have played it a lot, but when you say "the most played game of all time", you're saying it has been played more than any other game ever. This is the problem. I have no issue with Double Dragon being described as a popular game in the 1980s, because it was a popular game in the 1980s, but that does not automatically mean it is "the most played game of all time". In terms of arcade games, the game that has the largest arcade game revenue is Pac-Man. Double Dragon is about 25th in that list. Furthermore, even Pac-Man isn't likely to be the most played game of all time, it'll probably be some MMORPG like World of Warcraft, or a popular FPS like Counterstrike, due to the large number of players and the long play sessions they regularly have.
@@blahdelablah Ok! I agree. When I made this video I kept those two years in my mind (1988 and 1989). This game during that time like Mario was played everywhere.
