The u boat captain was actually not happy that the carpathia was taking too long too sink. He launched a third torp too speed up the sinking.
At least, German submarine showed the world its ever-first taken photo of a ship disaster.

@@MassimoCalderaro-u8h They were unsatisfied because after they torpedoed Carpathia with two torpedoes, the ship was sinking very slowly and gradually, allowing everyone on board to leave Carpathie in time

But yet there still some life lost but not as much as other ship like the Lusitania
