I think it's different when you step back. If you grew up playing GTA 5 like I did going back wasnt as easy cause if the change of controls and the handling, all that. But starting at 3 and going forward was probably was easier as more features were implemented and things ironed out
It's almost like games get better as the development teams get more experience, franchises get bigger, the studio make more money, and as consoles become more powerful
