Great seeing one of the back doors to the dam. One place in the future be there a week or more. Gate's were locked when I visited many years ago..imagine what eastern side be like if left unlocked.
It's a beautiful spot up there Denis. And over the back is also beautiful. It would be nice if they limited the dam wall to walking at least. But I guess a boat or kayak next time would allow for some on foot exploration.

Going to check out Notch point and the Sarina sugar mill for some rum and goodies before we head up the range and out the back to the Bowen River. Your videos have given us this itinerary.
Oh that sounds brilliant. You'll love it. I reccomend beckford station. On hip camp website. Private land obviously and the river runs through their property. Drive around and find a spot. Beautiful!
Haha... you too can experience all the region has to offer on these tours. For the small and reasonable fee of $5000. This price includes nothing except possibly having to winch or snatch the luxy out of some mess. Haha.

Haha... yeah was suffering a bit. To be honest our weather at present is absolutely perfect. Should last another 3 months. I didn't know you threw a shoutout on your video mate. I'll have to find some time to sit down and watch some. I've been flat out last few weeks. Maybe Sunday evening. Hope your have a good weekend and you get that Jeep out and about.

@@TimRumble Ah long story short No. Hit a rock and smashed sump made it back to Stuart Highway and then a 600 km tow home and 6 weeks waiting on parts etc

It's gets so windy there, especially after dark. Best spots are over in the western corner. Less weed and ppl too 👌
