hi! i just stumbled upon your chanel because i found your review of yoshitaka amano’s deck, and i just loved your content and decided to dig in your chanel. being a tarot reader myself, i am always looking for some reviews on decks that i have eyes on and i can see how great of a collectioner you are so here i am, watching your videos one after another and taking notes on my next purchases. i had my eyes on the cosma series for a while but as much as i love the art, right now i’m looking for decks that are not new illustrations of the classical cards. last time i checked the cosma serie, this deck wasn’t out. now, your review made me think of how immaculate this deck is, not only the gorgeous and jaw dropping illustrations but the actual cards contained in the deck bring something very new to the table for me. so yeah, i’m definitely buying it. i decided to leave a comment here right after the comparison you made on the three of lotuses. i don’t think you’re overthinking anything at all, actually i think you made a wonderful point. i have not read any description of any card so i’m just speaking from intuition but i think it does make sense that we would see the illustration of the three of chalices, in the three of lotuses, let me explain. this is a deck to explore our past lives. in this deck, some of the cards such as the path, are here to highlight the connection there is in all our lives, right? i believe there is layers to each of our experiences, and that we can encounter the same things in different lives, for instance. so i do believe that some cards in this deck are going to tell us « this is what you experienced in a given life, but it is not the only time and space you have experienced this exact same thing ». and this is exactly what the three of chalices inside the three of lotuses is showing us. now, the lotuses are according to me, representative of water. in other words, the lotuses the equivalent of chalices, because chalices are the representative of water, too. are they the same? not exactly. now, the three of chalices is represented in the three of lotuses. what if it is just a simple way to highlight some patterns and similarities we encounter from a life to another? the lotuses and chalices are the representative of water but they’re not exactly the same. when you’re in different life journeys, you’re still you, you’re still the representative of your soul, but you’re not quite the same person either. so yeah, i interpretated this card as a way to tell us there are many links between our different lives, just as chalices and lotuses can be seen as the same entity of water, that just evolved in different lives. i believe this card could then mean two things, it can tell us that no matter where we go or where we’re headed, we’re always going to have this special link to our soul, we’re always going to have some kind of experience we have experienced before. it can also tell us that if we want to dig into it, we can. it leaves us the choice to remain active or passive. i don’t know if you will ever read this, maybe it was too long. anyway i will keep watching your reviews. i thank you for this recommendation, i have felt such a strong connection to this deck, thank to your video. please, never stop making such a well thought, well articulate content.
Thanks so much for your insightful comments! Yes - sometimes I forget that even if there are “mistakes”, maybe it’s meant to be. Reading intuitively is quite difficult for me because I’m such a stickler for rules and “correctness”. I appreciate you reminding me that reading cards can be freeing too and I enjoyed reading your interpretations of the cards. If you do get this deck, I hope you enjoy it!!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I enjoyed your walkthrough, even though I already have the deck so have seen it. I used the "major arcana" in order - or, their book descriptions - as meditation prompts and enjoyed those days. However, I will say that not really having the idea of past lives as part of my outlook has impacted my ability to work with this deck as designed. I love the artwork and I love the geomantic court cards though. Thanks for sharing your thoughts as always. ❤😊
I only saw photos of this deck and thought it should be practical enough to use. The pictures felt balanced (not too love and light but not too shadowy), though a little disappointed to hear its past-lives' related (I think past lives should stay in the past that's all 😂)
Hahahahaha but sometimes can learn the lessons we learned before I guess that’s the point of a past life reading to me… but I’m still learning the same lesson LOL
Thanks for this video! I'm here cos I backed Little Visions a few weeks ago and I only opted for one deck and I can't decide if I want the Prisma or Cosma Visions. Visually, the art and colors of Cosma Visions appeal to me more and the whole past life thing intrigues me, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to use the deck that way or at all. I tend to reach more for my tarot decks than my oracle decks. I'm still undecided! It's a gorgeous deck for sure though. :)
Hi Casper, hope you have been well and I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on this. Having this deck for quite some time now, I must agree of not reaching out to it even though the art is definitely beautiful. Just not drawn to it that much surprisingly but this video might just be the sign to pick it back up again! Been having similar visions with that Three of Lotuses card (that white building beside water and you mentioned in previous card of sun and moon) and drawing 3 of cups lately feeling like I’m missing a link. At this rate might just be overthinking but interesting😂
Thanks Aira!! I’ve been a bit ragged and tired so it took me a while to get to editing this video. I hope you get to figure out what the 3 of cups mean for you soon ❤️❤️
Thanks so much Arlene. I’m just a little overwhelmed with work and career stuff recently so decided to take a break with UA-cam. I’m hoping to be back soon though my videos won’t be as regular ❤️❤️ really appreciate your kind comment
Hey Casper! I’ve backed the Little Visions Kickstarter for this deck specifically. I’m hoping that if it’s in a smaller format, the matte cardstock won’t bother me as much. I really dislike the cardstock that James uses but I’m very interested in this artwork which is weird considering that I’ve bought and gotten rid of both the Prisma and Light Visions decks three times (I always buy them together) because I don’t resonate with those decks. Are you going to do a walkthrough of the Geomantic Visions? Thanks for the walkthrough!
I am intending to film Geomantic Visions but I don’t know when I’ll be done hahaha I’ve been so painfully busy. I hope the smaller versions serve you - im happy with my full sized ones but I can’t say I wasn’t tempted hahah. The cardstock for me is lovely it’s similar to most of my others like the Weird Cat Tarot or the Bloom Moon Tarot.
Thank you Katey you’re too sweet!!! Just overwhelmed with my job and trying to figure out how I can get back creating content - if not in the short term, in the long term. I appreciate you so much reaching out ❤️❤️ happy holidays I hope things are well for you too!!!! Much love
I really love the Van Gough like illustrations.
