This is such a great addition! Had no idea it had all of these features. This will be a nice enhancement to Gaia. Great meeting all of you at the expo this weekend!
You guys did a fantastic job on this app. I used it for my first time in Colorado a few weeks ago. The “follow” feature works great, it was nice to see what was coming up as well as interesting trail facts along the way. I am so glad I had this app for that trip. This will definitely be my “go to” app for trails in the future. I use this app on my phone and have GAIA on the iPad to get a more birds eye view of the whole trail. Keep up the good work.
Great work! I used this running Metal Masher in Moab last week. Really appreciate being able to download the map for off grid access, the turn directions and the insight on the each of the key obstacles while using the follow mode.
I’ve been using the beta/TestFlight version for a while, and love it! It’s a great app and I’ve used it to run several trails in Colorado. The biggest problem I have is deciding if I want to have Gaia or Trailsoffroad open on my phone. I usually default to this app, and switch to Gaia if I want more info on a side trail or something. One feature request: I love the user reviews and photos of your website. It’s the best way to find up to date info. I would like to have this stuff available in app, without having to click on “Website”. Great job on this app and with all of trailsoffroad!
Another feature request: Every time I click on website I have to log in the trailsoffroad again. The app knows my username and that I’m logged in. When I click the button in app it should send a session token or something to have me logged in on the in app browser.
We are working on integrating trail reviews into the iOS as we speak! We want to make it easy for our community members to share their experiences. Thanks for the kind words!
I will have to do some more testing. My first guess is that I have to log in only once per “session” but if I don’t use the app for a few hours or days I have to log in again.
Hi Marsha, try scrolling down just a bit when you land on the trails info page. If you are still having issues, please leave us a feedback on the website and we would be happy to help you out!
This is excellent....can't wait to get the app for Android!! I remember I had it somehow when you guys were testing it or something. All of this info offline is sweet. Are you still working with GAIA GPS so we can upload the trails to that app?
Thanks Nigel!! We briefly had the Android out for beta and then pulled it back because we weren’t exactly thrilled with it, it’s darn close now!! The upload to Gaia feature is something we are both working on and hope to have that complete in a near future release.
I realize this app kinda handles the same thing, but i’s like to be able to load a trail to my Gaia account straight from the app like I can on the website. I’d also like a button that takes me to that trail’s UA-cam video (if there is one).
Hey Matt. We are working with Gaia on how to implement that feature! We do have a button that takes you to the web page, we didn’t think of adding a video button - we will add it to our list!
Hey John, This is Adeeba! You said you are doing this feature also for Android users. Is it going to be exactly same as the IOS one which you showed in the video. And, when is this feature(Follow) going to be out for Android users?
Just a few, we wouldn’t recommend our membership right now for Canadian trails. If you would like to help us make trail guides in Canada please reach out to us: www.trailsoffroad.com/write-for-us

How long till there is an android app? Also hats off you you guys for having a video explaining how to actually use the app.
Android beta will be out in just a couple weeks or less! So really soon.
Is there an update on the timeline for the Android app?
@@derekmcdude the app was just released.
It is out and live in the wild!

That is awesome!!! There is nothing better than to hear people are using the app to get out on some new adventures! Thanks for watching!
This app is a great addition to your website. I’ve been a long time customer and love it!!
Thank you so much!!! We appreciate you!!
This is awesome! I cannot wait to explore trails as I FOP around the US. Thanks for the new tool.

Would love a CarPlay feature.

We can definitely look into session tokens! Are you logging in and then everytime you click it its making you log in again?

Cant wait for the android version. Saw you guys at the Expo yesterday!
Frank, we can’t wait either!! Been a long time coming and we enjoyed meeting you at the expo!!
Awesome. Sub’d. app downloaded. Simple and intuitive, unlike so many other offerings. Thanks guys.
Woo Hoo! Glad you like it! You can always reach out to us via support for any requests of new features.
So the app looks great, but I was following along and didn't get the information page with the heart on it. Is there a different version?

Can it run through CarPlay. I would like it on the head unit guiding me while off-roading
We are working on carplay as we speak! Thanks for watching...and stay tuned for updates!
Awesome. Can't wait for the Android version!
Thanks Will! We are anxiously awaiting for it ourselves. Hopefully within the next month we will have it out in the wild. We want it to be perfect!
Can’t wait to use the App!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you for the support Chris! We are fully made in America! Right here in CO! Built not bought lol

Thank you, let us know what you think after you get a chance to use it.

Hey Adeeba, John here. Email me and I can get you squared away!
are you able to filter out trails from easy to difficulty?
That functionality is not in the app yet. However, on the website state pages you can filter by that and all sorts of other ways.
@@Trailsoffroad thanks! looking forward to using on the trail soon!
Do you have Canadian trails?
Just a few, we wouldn’t recommend our membership right now for Canadian trails. If you would like to help us make trail guides in Canada please reach out to us: www.trailsoffroad.com/write-for-us
Hello, can you create your own trails and waypoints and make them visible for others to follow
Our app includes the trail guides we make. If you want to make and share your own tracks, we recommend Gaia GPS!
How do i transfer full access from the site to the app?
Hi Jon, you use the same log in you use on the site, in the app. Hope to see you out there on the trail!
Will the Android app do the same ?
Exactly the same! They will be both 100% alike functionality wise.
Did you need wifi? Or is off line
It works offline, just click the offline symbol at the bottom of the screen and download the states you want to have offline!
Been debating if I should subscribe for the last month or so.........Decision made!
Ring that bell and come on in! If you ever need anything, let us know! We are always here to help!
what's the catch? How much do u have to pay? I'd rather not be a subscription slave either... halp?
Good news, we have a free version :) otherwise an All-Access Membership is $25 per year. Try the 7 day free trial even before you buy.
unfortanly not availble in europe and does it consist of offroad maps in africa
We would love to map outside of the US, we just haven't quite gotten there yet. Thanks for watching!
Any update on the Android App?
Its getting close
Nice!!!
Thank you for watching! We hope you enjoy the app!
Get your thumbs out of the steering wheel!
That was my wife! She is still learning lol

Um, you need WiFi+Cellular in the iPad, to follow a trail, starts at $460.
You fail to mention this.
Yep, every navigation app that tracks your position will require the device to be cellular equipped as they are the only models with built in GPS.
Works great on your phone too. Also, there are standalone bluetooth GPS receivers you can use with a non cellular iPad.
Yes but I did not drink the kool-aid.....I use android, so this does me no good till it comes out on a platform for all
Its coming
