The new ones also broke… I was not even allowed to think of buying a new one (Asian parents) …
This was very helpful thanks a lot ❤
Don't ya'll make these? 😂 jk
Sincerely appreciated. My headset is the tool of my trade: I work in a contact center, taking calls from customers. Today, my Krakens broke and I was worried sick (I taped till the end of my shift) - you rock! THANK YOU!
Thank you SO much! So useful for those of us who don't have any tools to weld the wire with heat :)
Glad it was helpful!
I had never thought that baking soda was so useful!
Thank you, It worked.

Almost gave up on my piece but then you happened. Thanks a lot. Although i cannot adjust it on one side, but it's 100× better than not being able to use it all or buy a new one. I can still adjust it from the right end tho. Loads of appreciation brother. ❤🎉

Thanks for feedback :)
Thank you. It worked.
Glad it helped :)
thank youuuuuuuuuu
Thank you I just tried it and worked 🎉❤
Great!
Helpful and funny too! Mine broke apart right where the earpiece meets the band so there’s no extra plastic to work with, but I’ll give it a try.
good luck and wait for feedback :)
@@TechscrewDIY I gave up. Since it’s two sheared off ends with nothing to work off I thought I’d just slather the whole section with gorilla glue which hardens into a cement rock like blob. But the curve of the band which keeps wanting to pull away the two broken ends and the way the working ear piece keeps flopping over to get in the way like it’s deliberately trying to drive me insane; plus the fact you’d need a whole set of clamps, braces and possibly pulleys to keep it in place while the blob dried...and then the sneaking suspicion that the whole thing would pop apart instantly after all that work anyway has led me to the conclusion that I’ll put them back in the broken stuff box which should have been tossed in the garbage years ago and then I’ll try again in 2 or 3 more years because I’m an idiot.😀
Thank you very much, today my headphones broke and I didn't know what to do, this video has really helped me
good luck
Can copper be used as the support?
Thank u so much! I broke school headphones and i couldnt buy another pair! i cant believe how strong it is now )': bless u

You're a life saver. Thanks so much man!
Happy to help!
As an orphan, it's pretty hard to collect all the necessary stuff to do this
it's much cheaper than getting an extra $60 for new headset pair.
What the fuck
@@TechscrewDIY or $230 on my end
@@suave605 ok...but on one asked you
@@palestinekimkc manu sdfu
what can you do if that thing is stuck inside
Sir mine is broke right on the edge of the headphone luke where the big speaker is
I have the same problem but the right side connection broke, is possible to repair? Any videos?
i taped mine using black duct tape and i put cardboard on each side to hold the joint in place. no glue required. it hold well but it might not work for all kinds of headsets.
Super glue can be carcinogenic so that’s why you should consider wearing gloves”
*Proceeds to continue using his bare hands*
fumes from glue are more dangerous than getting on your hands, use it only in a well-ventilated area.
Eh I don’t mind getting super glue on my hands I can literally get rid of super glue on my hands
Brother, is it possible to undo this solution and remove the super glue/baking soda reaction?
Thanks great video I'm gon try just the super glue
it won't give as good a result :(
@@TechscrewDIY so I have to put the baking soda to ? 😫
just like I do in this video. If the builder does not add sand when preparing the concrete, the result will also not be the best.
this is incredibly i broke my ps5 headset after only 2 month of buying it and I thought it was the end but after trying this the mix of glu and baking soda is incredible
thanks fo so sweet feedback :)
I used a small metal ruler to repair mine and worked great
thanks for tip.
I did almost the same thing with mine. a very good one, good bass, no noise and excellent sound. it split on each side in the band. Of course, they always tell you to throw it away and buy another, but the problem is that I can't even find it in second-hand stores. I'm talking about the > Headphones & Speakers BT161SP.
thanks for feedback :)
hi i have a hyperx cloud stinger and i have 2 problems 1.the mic is loose 2.the mic works but my friends cant hear me at all loud noise in the background.thanks love your content
check with multimer wires from 3.5mm jack to inside headphones.
Is Flour a good alternative to Baking Soda? I want answers!
no no no
Thanks brother
Your video gave me ideas to fox a lot of things
Glad I could help
What if the Sponge part of a Gaming headset wants to come out or the top part of the Sponge that makes the top of your head comfortable. How should you glue that part???? And what glue is best needed for that case?????..
just repair headphone body and then fix sponge or just put some soft material.
Wow❤️🎉🎉
lol you said use your sisters or brothers tooth brush 😂😂😂 thanks for the soda hack ima try it
Hi, thank you so much for making this video. when you say get some aluminium wire, what gauge/size should we get?
any, you can ft in this gap.
@@TechscrewDIYwhat gauge did you use in the video? this is my first time repairing and using wires, and i’m not sure which gauge to get
Can you too apply that trick if it is instead like it is round? Like the part that broke in the headphones in your vid is flat but mine is like round shaped
no problem :)
What thickness would you suggest for the metal wire?
1mm is enough
It needs to be a clean break ie all the parts can form a solid bond. Why the baking soda though?
nice
Thanks
Is it durable if I use sharpener blades instead of nails
if you can do it, no problem, but be careful and don't cut your fingers.
Mine keeps going back down in the head phone grr 😖 maybe I get piece of Metal to put in there I love these head phone don’t want to throw them away
what can you do if the plastic other part gets inside the hedphone
which part and where in headphone ?
Would this apply to something like the cloud 3 where the metal part is broken
metal part ?
@@TechscrewDIY it’s aluminum right the part right above the actual ear muff
Please make a video on headphone RGB light repair
glue repair ? Or what kind of problem ?
What if my headphones do not have a place for any sort of metal? Like the aluminum u used?
try without :)
If i only put glue and baking soda did it work to?
yea, but it won't be as strong.
thanks! 😍😍

Im doing this right now i hope itll work..
how did it end for you ?
Can u so it with jabra evolve 20
why not ?
Just get a 15 glue gun kit. Or you can use a butane torch and melt some string trimmer plastic.
Hi good idea with the super glue not with baking soda i dont belive baking why the baking soda
What do you do if the headset broke at the base of the earmuffs
glue ?
the bit that extends has been pushed in on my headset has anyone any idea how to go about puling it out ?
disassembly?
@Techscrew DIY yea I was able to crack the plastic housing and extend the hers thing unfortunately for me the snap is not in the middle but at the bottom making them unable to be reinforced, so I have had to wrap them with tape, it means it does not cup 2 ear properly:(
@@donsnypa7332 sadly :(
Same here. I managed to push it out from the cushion side with a hairpin
Bro saved my dumb ahh
Saddly this type of connection does not work by elastic work of headphones. After 1 day of unsin it brake. Better is some type of Epoxy and metall reinforcements
mine have been working for several years
What can I use if i dont have baking powder
buy it.
@@TechscrewDIY go easy on the gentle man will ya?? 😂😂
Yo wht type of baking soda
My razer kraken headset broke on one side just like in the video. Why they are so fragile? I used to own headsets that last years before something like this happens. I think I will just buy new one without any plastic if possible. This headset didn't even last 2 months and it broke what the hell.
True, modern headphones have to be used very carefully.

thanks, so sweet :)
I can finally play Minecraft without worrying my headphones will break. Thank you
the funny thing is we have same heafset
A few months ago, I snapped one side of my headset. I watched this video and the method worked very well, surprisingly! Now, the other side has snapped, so I’m back here again🥲 thank you sooooo much for this video!!
Thanks for so sweet feedback :)
bro my headset broken with the wire inside what can i do
first repair wires.
Could u fix my headset? It is the stealth 700
What kind of problem ?
how could I send a picture?
@@allanayala-barrera1450 I’m guessing your stealth 700s broke right under where the headphones swivel (the weakest part of the headset .. I had 2 pairs break in that spot ) if that’s the case then YES it absolutely works
Tavs video mainīja mana dzīve!
very nice, thanks :)
Bruh same headphones I ahve that broke like cmon i aint even have them for 3 months yet
after gluing they serve more longer time.
can you show me how to remove the earpads?
maybe this video can help youua-cam.com/video/LW7LSsNoTcc/v-deo.html
@@TechscrewDIY i just figured it out myself haha tnx btw, just asking if the earpads size are 90mm?
@@Amutomoto I don't remember, you'd better measure them yourself
I used tape but not baking never thought baking soda why baking soda
baking soda with supeglue make instant cement.
You have a awesome sense of humour😂😂
thanks :)
How to fix your headset
If i asked a repairer to fix this, how does it usually cost
In Latvia for this job I ask $20-25
Mine broke right where it connects to the speaker lol... I'm trying gorilla glue
and the result is ?
I tried gorilla glue and 2 pieces of thin plastic on either side, clamping was almost impossible. It's not going to work which sucks because the they still work sound great, just no way to hold them on your head. They should design them so you can replace the head band part. What a waste....Nice skull candy headphones..@@TechscrewDIY
me watching this with broken headphones
sad :(
Ty bro my headphone was new yesterday and today I was on bed and I accidentally jump on my headphones I was crying I thought I was going get spank by my mom. 😭😭
did you try gluing?
@@TechscrewDIY yes
2nd razor gor us that cracked. They are Garbage
maybe you have to use the headsets more carefully :)
Superglue didn't work , going for lighter now
do you use with superglue baking soda and some metal?
Come on...try to apply 2 component resin glue. After repair u can use black paint.
I think your solution is temporary and agter one monts it will broken again.
Isolation tape is bad idea too. Better black marker from tesco lol
these headphones work more then two ears, just use more carefully
My headset still broke 😢😢
did you try gluing ?
@TechscrewDIY ya, I tried it .I am redoing it
