Well, that's my evening booked up. Thanks so much for this and all your other vids Sven, they're such an education. And thank you for smiling - you look like you're enjoying yourself now!
Thanks Sven, extremely useful details. Also, in terms of a bigger picture: I think this is another especially accessible window into Gypsy Jazz that, along with your other videos, is going to form a meaningful archive for the future, as well as being of immediate use to aspiring players right now.
Exellent! The Em6 -> D#m6 (substituting B major) was an eye-opener, the logic is easy to understand - like C#m6 substistuting A major in minor swing! Thanks! Sometimes, when we play Georgia Brown in the duo, I like to do a D#9 instead of Am in the ending of the song. The chords will look like | G9 (10th fret) F#9 | F9 E9 | D#9 D9 | G6/9 | ..it's easy and adds a little bluesy flavor to the melody! Thanks, Sven, your videoes are so giving!
Fantastic help. Very challenging. Appreciate your time and sharing of your talents.
Another excellent lesson! Thank you!
That was great Sven. Though I have so much to learn, your videos are challenging and give me a great goal to work at. Many thanks!
