@skywalkker007: It's Gilgamesh' theme. Lucky sod. So in every FF where he shows up to make your life a living hell, this theme plays. starting from FF4 iirc.
Gilgamesh has what? Ten? Twelve arms perhaps? He also seems tall, if he could somehow arrange the instruments so that they don't mess him up, maybe. Then again, he's almost comic-relief, so there's a 50/50 chance he'll turn out to be as coordinated as a quadraplegic lab-rat hopped up to his ears on experimental pharmaceutics.
I was thinking steal genji gear lol but that is the other side of the coin. People underrate how much steal improved from edge hurting himself in ff4 if you miss, and ff3 just getting stupid potions.
The song is brutal, they play it fucking great, but still they do it like robots, sometimes like they dont enjoy it, but anyways the song is brutal and I like to isten to it and play it!
Not too far off! Nobuo's big inspirations are actually from the same inspirations as Dream theater! Notably the 70s UK prog scene of King Crimson, Pink Floyd and Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
I love this song and this band. But I respectfully think that the guitar solo was awful compared to the original. Too much wanking, too little melodic taste (as opposed to the one on the album). Still, I can't complain about this band. Shame it doesn't exist anymore.
