Yeah... I have been wondering the same thing, as I installed lot of USB ports in my car last year. As the car electricity system is 12V, you can pull wires almost everywhere for that 12V, and then place the step down converter to 5V with USB ports almost everywhere. Same time pull the external camera wires to roof and place a new control panel on ceiling front of the dash cam mirror, where you can turn On/Off various electronics or choose what camera output is to be inputted to the rear mirror display. IMHO the car manufacturers are lazy, greedy and non-innovative. As we have plenty of all kind things we can do in to cars without compromising safety. After all, all cars are mostly just thin plastic behind thin sheet of metal with lots of hollow air space between. .

Just look at Tesla, do you know any country that doesnt allow Teslas on their streets? That is probably the ONLY dashcam, that would be explicitly allowed in germany for example...

In my country, we call minivans as Mircobus. Although its a family vehicle but mostly used for rental, primary vehicle for wedding guests and for chill trips with friends. The key thing is to provide as much room to communicate with everybody, moving, dancing and switching seats. And of course, ample airflow for sensitive riders. This ID buzz hits all the marks.

I'm shocking this isn't a standard thing at this point. having to run cable in headliners and behind dashes and risk inducing rattles etc. is wild when a 2 inch USB-C to USB-C cable to a port like that solves everything.

That's under perfect conditions. Long story short, it's taking them far too long to charge. But if they can get this onto the level of the Audi ETron GT and Porsche products, 250 isn't terrible when you're juiced back up in well under 20 minutes.
the entire roof being glass like that would cook you alive in there during the day. and nothing folds down to enjoy the star view at night. do you you have to have severe brain damage to design cars at vw now?

It can take up to 3 hours to charge the battery to 100%...On average to charge to the 80% takes 45 minutes...Most people live not in homes but apartments where they park on the street where ever they find an open space...Not a charger within walking distance
The best part of that was the ice and bottle opener. Never seen a car/suv ever include that functionality into their system BUT OMG A LIFE CHANGER ! Already wanna buy it just for that reason

The wireless charging pad that cools off your phone is actually a big deal and its super cool. Wireless charges are super inefficient and they cause a ton of heat that wears out your battery faster. But keeping it cool should help significantly with all of that.
Do you live anywhere that has hail storms? If a hail storm busts that top window, water damage is going to result in this thing being totaled by the insurance company as I didn't see him mention anything about water proofing lol.

I love the way the cars phone charger for the driver works. Every car should have one and when you plug your phone into it, it should automatically connect to the radio.
