Magnificent! Never seen a waterfall like that. Your face and smile said it all ! I always think the landscape hugs the ones who truly love nature, as though it appreciates the ones who have the love of the countryside in their hearts .. like yourself Patrick. Top quality filming!
Hi Patrick you no I love your videos relaxing music scenery gets me through this winter hoping to meet you one day I live in my campervan in the Peak District keep making these wonderful videos down to earth always watch on evening glass of red an meal parked up hartington fantastic brother my respect to you Patrick keep up the videos
I absolutely loved that one Patrick - your walk up the Tees valley. I said, 'this is one I'd like to do one day.' It was and is indeed spectacular. I haven't much to say other than I think I would have been as mesmerized by Cauldron Snout. A fine place in England indeed. All the best up there bro. Mark
This has to be my favourite walk of all the ones I did in the North Pennines Mark. Teesdale is just a beautiful valley. I noticed Steve (Tramp in the Hills) said the Tees was his favourite river, so I would say it is probably now one of my faves too. Cauldron Snout was just the icing on the cake, absolutely amazing to see and to be able to scramble up beside it. Well thanks as always Mark, take care down there too 👍
@@solitaryrambler Hey, good to hear a new fave has emerged Patrick - I can see why. And of course steve can't be far wrong either. A pleasure as always.
Love that walk....The cliffs of Cronkley fell and Falcon clints looked stunning in the sunshine and then you round the corner to be greeted by Cauldron snout...absolutely bloody beautiful.
Another lovely film patrick and it pays off to film midweek where you can film in peace.well done on been kind to the car with the new tyres, afterall they get us to beautiful places ... Take care my friend 😊
Glad you enjoyed it John. One of those things with the car, but I still had one heck of a week in this beautiful area. Thanks John for watching and for all your support 👍
Well Patrick one thing we can expect from you and your walks are the amazing views ,scenery, you never cease to amaze us with your video's cauldron snout OMG !! Amazing . F.A.N.T.A.S.T.I.C . . We are off to see some amazing views ourselves this Scotland cheers Patrick.
That was so unfortunate that you had a puncture, Patrick, especially when you were planning another day's walk, but you caught up the next day, thankfully. The slopes below the cliffs are impressive with all that bolder scree running down and into the river bed. Cauldron Snout is nothing like I've ever seen before in England, it has an immensely powerful water flow. Cow Green reservoir looks picturesque, with the dam. All in all a really great day for the weather, and it's been another excellent video in this series, Patrick. Thank you.
One of those things Ffranc, I lost one day, but the others were still great. This was my favourite walk in the end, beautiful stretch of the River Tees and Cauldron Snout was fantastic. Glad you enjoyed it, thanks as always for watching and commenting 👍
Apart from the superb scenery, I think the solitude and the absence of crowds is one of the main attractions to the North Pennines. Wonderful!. Such an enjoyable film Patrick, and you were so lucky with the weather.
It was certainly a solitary walk, although I did see a few people at Cauldron Snout towards the end, I just made sure they weren't in shot whilst filming. Certainly my favourite of the North Pennines walks I did with such awesome scenery. Thanks Michael for your great comments and for taking the time to watch 👍
It was so beautiful and calming I didn't want it to end. I always went away when the schools went back and always had lovely weather and peace and quiet. Cauldrons snout was fantastic. Nothing beats the sound of running water in the countryside so peaceful. I could sit there for hours. After your previous days walk in the heat Patrick, maybe it was a good thing to have a day to yourself. Shame about the expensive for new tyres though. I remember you cancelling your holiday. A place to rest your head always comes first. Delightful as always and great to watch. Cheers 😊
This was my favourite walk I did during my stay in the North Pennines, with Cauldron Snout being the icing on the cake. It was certainly a day to myself for the most part, although I did see people towards the end. However, I made sure they were out of shot whilst filming. The tyres was just one of those things, but I still had a great week. Certainly the house move was important back in 2022 and I knew the North Pennines would always be there for me to re-book the holiday. Thanks Kelly as always for your great comments and for watching 👍
A lovely day's walking and really enjoyed this guitar arpeggio style. So relaxing to hear especially with the added synths and key changes. Another best for me. Not heard of the areas you explored up North Pennines. Beautiful landscape views along your way too especially up the Cauldron Snout. What a lovely holiday for you.🙂
Hi Shanita, thank you so much for the lovely comments. I'm pleased you enjoyed my guitar score with synths, my favourite composition I created for the North Pennines. The walk itself was also my favourite, the stretch beside the River Tees here I was blown away with. Thanks for watching, all the best 👍
I loved the views of the falls and the surrounding scenery. Thanks so much Patrick. I tell you, sitting here on a dark January evening watching this, has been a real treat. Most enjoyable 21 minutes of the day for sure.
Hello Patrick , very nice love the open country , what a great place to have that farm , having the river and those water falls in your back yard amazing. Thank you Patrick.
Stunning scenery Patrick, you certainly spoil us 😊 that was some waterfall too, thankyou for such a lovely walk, you had the perfect weather. Its funny isn't it how things work out regarding your move, like you said beautiful scenery will always be there! Have a good weekend 😊
Many thanks for the lovely comments Steph. Pleased you enjoyed this, my favourite walk so far I think. Yes the move happened when it did, but at least I could re-book my week in the North Pennines, so glad I did 👍
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing the beautiful views and scenery.. Really enjoyed watching.. I cannot wait to have a UK walking holiday.. Not sure where yet, but going be exciting..
Another absolutely gorgeous walk Patrick! The cauldron snout is mesmerising. Hopefully I may get to visit one day but from down here in Norfolk it’s a very long journey. Anyway thanks for sharing such a beauty. ❤xx
Fabulous walk Patrick the tees valley definitely is beautiful 🤩 and I don’t think I’ve seen a prettier waterfall than cauldron’s snout (amazing) As always a brilliant film 🙌 Best regards Simon 🤠👍🏔️
Many thanks as always Simon for your great comments and for watching 😀 Cauldron Snout was certainly my favourite waterfall during my stay in the North Pennines. All the best to you 👍
Thank you for watching and for all your kind words. Hope you do visit Cow Green and Cauldron Snout, it was certainly my favourite walk whilst in this area last year 👍
Hi Patrick, Thank you for the last 3 walks in the north pennines the landscaping is stunning and what wonderful waterfalls, we only have one waterfall in Perth called Lesmurdie falls, its nothing like the one at Cow Green Reservoir, you do fined some beautiful places to visit. all the best Dave & Jean.
You are very welcome and very welcome Dave and Jean, glad you have been enjoying my North Pennines walks. it was the waterfalls which initially attracted me to visit this area. Thanks as always for your kind words and for watching 👍
The area around the River Tees is so much nicer than we had ever thought Patrick ..your mini series so far has really opened our eyes up. Like most, we are normally found to the west in the Lake District when this far north. We'll be giving the Northern Pennines a much closer look from now on :o)
Das war ja wieder ein wunderschöner Spaziergang. Sorry sogar der beste. Die Wasserfälle sind einfach der Hit. Für deine große Mühe Thank you Patrick 👍👋
Another absolutely brilliant walk Patrick, with another notable Pennine Way memory for me climbing up the side of Cauldron Snout, from memory the Pennine Way got quite a bit quieter from about this point. Sorry to hear about your car trouble, it's not what you want on a holiday.
This was my favourite walk in the North Pennines, an amazing stretch of the Tees and Cauldron Snout was just something else. One of those things with the car, but at least it got sorted. Thanks Steve for your comments and for watching 👍
Great vid and trip Patrick.. sorry too hear abt puncture but at least safe and job done.. like you say always another day and glad you settled I hope in yr flat . Lv Ali/R x
Glad you enjoyed it Ali. The puncture was just one of those things, but it got sorted. The flat is lovely and at least now I can book holidays anytime. Thanks Ali, all the best 👍
Great Video full of good content. I live in the north east, 23 miles from Cow Green Reservoir. I have been there before but never been to Cronkley Fell and Falcon Clint’s. I will definitely be checking them out. Whilst researching the area for your video. Did you notice High Cup Nick? It very impressive. You can walk from the Cow Green Car Park along to High Cup Nick. I’ve never been but I’m going to hopefully walk it this year. All the best and keep up the good work.
Many thanks for the kind words and for taking the time to watch. This was the third of 5 videos I made in the North Pennines last September, and this was my favourite walk. I wanted to do High Cup Nick, but I would have done it from Dufton as it would have been too many miles for me from Cow Green bearing in mind I spend longer when I'm filming my walks. I don't know if you recall me mentioning in this video that I lost a day of filming during my stay in this area when I had to take my car to Barnard Castle one day to sort out some new tyres, so unfortunately it was the High Cup Nick walk that got sacrificed. Hope to return one day when I can to film that walk. All the best 👍
@@solitaryrambler Yes I do recall you saying that you lost a day. I see what you mean. That walks take longer when you have to film them. Dufton would be the easier option and quicker route to High Cup Nick. Will look forward to watching more of your videos and future one to come. Hopefully see some videos in the north east again soon. Thanks for the reply. Hope you have a great weekend.
Patrick, another nice Pennine walk, I would like to point out, the audio sounds fantastic on my audiophile very expensive headphones, from the crunch from your apple to sounds of it the waterfalls steve
