I love how reluctant Bo was to take off her helmet, and she only does it because she trusts the armourer to have noble intentions. This is quickly becoming like the old Mandalorian empire, where they essentially ruled half the galaxy. They're organised, strong, competent, and very capable of maintaining order without needing to instil fear or commit genocide.
Unless they are planning to make the sequels non canon, I am not sure they will be able to become what they were before, since they don't appear on the sequels to help fight the New Order
This episode is probably my favorite of the season so far. My second favorite would have to be last week’s episode. I’ll admit I was weirded out that the Armorer made an exception for Bo-Katan to remove her helmet, but at least now she can fulfill her calling and regroup the exiled Mandalorians to reclaim their homeland. What I really loved about this episode is that Paz gained a new level of respect for Din. Paz caught me off-guard for a moment, but then he reminded me Din saved his son Ragnar.
I think the Mythosaur changed the Armorer's mind. When an "apostate" comes and tells you she saw Jesus Christ in your religion's magic lake, that's probably gonna make you rethink some things.

The stunt-woman for the Armorer, Lauren Mary Kim (who, like Chris said is on some great episodes of Corridor Digital) also did the motion-capture for Ahsoka in her duel against Maul, opposite Ray Park, in the Clone Wars finale.

Gorian Shard's men fired at the Kowakian Monkey Lizards. So it's fitting that they helped the Mandalorians by pointing towards their "possible ambush" which they were smart enough to take heed 😅😏😉👍.

Funny you should mention wanting a Star Wars concert, as many years ago there actually was one, hosted by Anthony Daniels no less! It was a really fantastic concert where footage from the films was set to the music, and there where also laser and pyrotechnic effects. I really wish they'd bring it back, but this time including music from the Solo, Rogue One, Clone Wars, Rebels, The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, Andor, Kenobi, and the Galaxy's Edge theme as well.
There was a time jump already, but they weren't very good at showing it. Apparently Grogu spent 2 years with Luke. Explains Karga's white beard and the growth of the city.
Best episode of Season 3 by far! Holy hell, this was glorious. Bringing back Elia Kane from my least favorite episode here really sets up something that is coming, and it's big. The entire Nevarro action sequence was incredible. It was like something out of a war movie. Every portion of that battle is like it could've been in a movie. That, in my opinion, is why streaming is a nice balance. The twists with Paz Vizsla agreeing to help Mando and The Armorer believing in Bo-Katan to lead Mandalore was something I didn't expect. The post-credit tease of who freed Moff Gideon is intriguing. Can't wait to see how the final 3 episodes of Season 3 play out. *This is the way*
Admiral Sloane and Hux have already left for the Unknown regions and they are already setting up the first order (They fled after the battle of Jakku which is a few years before Mando).
It's probably the Mandalorians that Bo Katan lost that extracted Gideon. She said they separated to become mercenaries after she failed to get the black saber.
John Favreau provided the voice of Pre Vizsla in the Clone Wars and also provided the voice for Paz Vizsla in the first season of The Mandalorian. This is the reason his face is portrayed on the Paz Vizsla action figure, and many UA-cam channels predicted Paz would remove his helmet this season and be portrayed by Favreau. With the start of Seaon 3, Tait Fletcher began providing his voice as well as the physical acting for Paz, so I think if/when Vizsla removes his helmet, it will be Tait Fletcher's face we see.
The figure you refer to is a Star Wars convention exclusive where they put John Favreau on it as a gimmick like a George Lucas stormtrooper. The actual in universe figure came out during season 1 before he had a name and it was called the “heavy mandalorian” and his helmet doesn’t come off.
I love how people just assume they look gross under their helmets because they don’t take them off but they do take their helmet off. They just can’t allow others to see their face. But in private they can wash up. Lol
2:20 bro whattttttt at first I thought I clicked on the wrong reaction but then she said Ragnar, and they find out his name in the episode where Paz Vizla literally says he's his son 😭 what do you mean people are theorizing?! HE CONFIRMED IT! I can't
Bo mentioned that some of her followers are now mercenaries, so it could have been Mandalorians who were hired to spring Gideon. My guess is Thrawn hired them, knowing that would throw off the New Republic. If it wasn't Mandalorians, we know someone took over that nice planet near Manalore where Bo had been hanging out. And we know Gideon has access to a lot of beskar.
Good observation. Moff Gideon's Dark Trooper droids had stolen Beskar as armor plating. Soooo...hopefully the New Republic doesn't jump to conclusions.
So, Paz is technically voiced by John Favreau. But the actor who wears the armor on set is the other dude. He was only ever credited as a cast member in season 3. Which is fitting, I guess, because of Paz's death.
The only ppl that initially knew of Moff Gideon's capture is Bo Kataan's crew who had abandoned her after taking off with Gideon's Star Destroyer. Something that I noticed at the end of the 3rd episode, the Armorer knew who Bo Kataan when everyone arrived in the Forge. Obviously Din's recognized but no one else introduced her. So the Armorer already knows Bo Kataan's armor/helmet or it's just a writer mistake. Also Palpy&Vader kept in contact with the criminal organizations like the Hutts&Black Suns so at least the empire won't bother them in exchange for unofficial stability&intelligence sharing info on any Jedi running amok outside of the empire. So the pirates&criminal organizations like the spice traders and Hutts do keep in regular contact with the Imps. So if Thrawn's around, he'd use those criminal organizations as a source or brokers for intelligence on the activities behind the scenes of the New Republic.
Bo Kataan is like a Mando celebrity, she's literally royalty. It's no surprise that the Armorer knows of her, and she of anyone would be the one to recognise a fellow Mando by their helmet design, especially a unique one like Bo's.
Originally Jon Favreau voiced Paz Vizsla. I don’t know if he’s still voicing him and the other guy is just his body but yeah. That’s why it’s his head on the toy.
It's super weird though, that out of the 2 trillion people on Coruscant, Moff Gideon's mole manages to be in the office when Captain Carson shows up. The pirates and Gideon must be working together, 'cause I don't see how she would be there unless she deliberately wanted to be in place in case Nevarro asked for help.
The actress that voices The Armorer is played by Emily Swallow, who is American. Her accent is pretty good, had me convinced it was a British actor in there. you will understand what happens next if you can answer 3 questions. 1. Where did bo katan's fleet go? answer, they left her when she did not get the dark saber. 2. Who attacked her castle? answer, we don't know, bo thinks it was pirate lords she owes money but there were a lot of tie fighters for petty pirate lords she says. 3. Who if not other Mandalorians would the outcast Mandalorian follow? Answer. the previous owner of the dark saber.
Go figure the best episode of the season most of the couch missed it lol. But I’m glad Marketa, Chris, and Rana were here! I love Marketa and Rana’s reactions to Grogu and Chris’ nerdy as hell takes on this show.
I have to say this you know how in the opening we see all the images of people from the Mandalorian series here there’s one scene where when it does the transition of the good and bad people you notice one of them is a Mandalorian but it’s red when it shines through them it’s not blue so there might be a bad Mandalorian maybe someone a part of the original deathwatch is just a theory but if you think about it there are other comforts of Mandalorians they are maybe some they’re good and some who are bad and also if you remember in the Boba Fett series Vizsla said he should be dead for his crimes of Mandylor I’m not saying he did it but it’s just a theory and a thought and I love your reactions keep up the good work and have a wonderful day ❤
You guys have sen Teva about 5 times in the Mandalorian. He has just lost weight. He tried to recruit Cara when she was with Greef, He also shot spiders on ice Planet with the passenger etc. and stopped Mando when he was first trying out his N1
not sure why they would think that a beskar fragment would be from a mandalorian? they use it only for armor, not weapons as explained by the armorer when Din brought her the beskar spear. some people may make weapons from it but not mandos!
Just to expand on Rana's comment at around 41:39 - It's true that young children can feel relatively safe in Japan. However, there is also a societal tolerance in Japan for media regarding kids that is not tolerated by the general U.S. populous and many other countries. I won't go into details here, but I think it shows how you can't just look at one benefit of society and romanticize it (not saying Rana is doing that, but I've seen video of what she's talking about and it romanticizes Japanese culture as some utopia of child safety when it most definitely is not).

This episode might be my favorite of the whole show so far.
Tait was on the 3rd season of The Ultimate Fighter, pretty cool
Bo Katan had Starbuck energy in this episode.
you will understand what happens next if you can answer 3 questions.
Tait Fletcher is in everything. Always as a minion or bad guy. Definitely think he’s gotten John Wick’d and Equalizered
Last comment I love it when Bo and armor3r talk to each other
Go figure the best episode of the season most of the couch missed it lol. But I’m glad Marketa, Chris, and Rana were here! I love Marketa and Rana’s reactions to Grogu and Chris’ nerdy as hell takes on this show.
No one noticed Dave Filoni at the bar? lol with his hat on even!
The way to run an entire galaxy with less bureaucracy is to concentrate power in individual systems or planets.
LOLOLOL!!! THE INTRO!!!! 🤣😂🤣😂
I FREAKING LOVE THIS SHOW! 😎👍
Anyone else think that one pirate on the bridge looks like Mr. Smee from Peter Pan?
If they succeed Bo will be the Duchess/Queen of Mandalore and Din will serve along with her as her Mandalorlian Knight
I have to say this you know how in the opening we see all the images of people from the Mandalorian series here there’s one scene where when it does the transition of the good and bad people you notice one of them is a Mandalorian but it’s red when it shines through them it’s not blue so there might be a bad Mandalorian maybe someone a part of the original deathwatch is just a theory but if you think about it there are other comforts of Mandalorians they are maybe some they’re good and some who are bad and also if you remember in the Boba Fett series Vizsla said he should be dead for his crimes of Mandylor I’m not saying he did it but it’s just a theory and a thought and I love your reactions keep up the good work and have a wonderful day ❤
The problem I see with Bo trying to unite the Mandalorians is she is going to come up against the ones that sprung Moff Gideon.
Rana falls in love at @12:33, March 29th, 2023.
You guys have sen Teva about 5 times in the Mandalorian. He has just lost weight. He tried to recruit Cara when she was with Greef, He also shot spiders on ice Planet with the passenger etc. and stopped Mando when he was first trying out his N1
Y’all couldn’t have started Rebels at a better time🤣 talk about a surprise! Literally spit my water and jumped off my couch when I saw him
not sure why they would think that a beskar fragment would be from a mandalorian? they use it only for armor, not weapons as explained by the armorer when Din brought her the beskar spear. some people may make weapons from it but not mandos!
I am not a pirate and I’m America
The centralist vs. populist debate for the New Republic is a big thing in the books with Leia leading the populists.
I didn't know anyone outside of Canada watched Kim's Convenience
Rana is so chaotic 😂😍
