Ik it's a little late, but a quick tip for dealing with the 'rulers' special bosses like Darth Vader.
1. You don't have to completely kill him. Once you know him down to a certain amount of HP, he'll dissappear in a portal and reappear in a different mission, with the same amount of HP as you left him with.
2. Shred armor, because losing armor will also be retained over missions, making him easier to deal with.
3. Reactions have a range, so if you're far enough away from him you won't trigger his reaction. So use longer range units like Sharpshooters/marksmen etc. To deal with him.
If anyone else has tips, feel free to share them as I played 1 campaign with Rulers, and I found them so infuriating that I refuse to play with them ever again
Yeah i think Daley needs some more XCOM Experience i mean there are many People who do Modded XCOM in 2024 maybe it will help Improve DaleD's Playstyle.

Daley, that enemy makes part of a DLC for the game, there are 3 of them, it would escape after losing just above 1 bar of life, it would reappear in future battles but it is unable to regain health, until you kill it and each of the 3 DLC enemies provide you with very powerful armor (if you research them)
