Headed to Italy in October. Currently binging all of your Vlogs- Love them! Al coming up to take your photo was just the sweetest. Thanks for sharing and linking everything.
My wife and I are going to italy for 2 weeks, in September we really enjoy watching your videos… you always find the most beautiful places to eat Keep up the good work, say hi to Al from us
Went there about four years ago, and wow did this bring back great memories. We went to many similar places. Went to the Uffizii, went to see David (paid ahead and went in when it opened so practically had it to ourselves), La Buchetta, Gelateria Dei Neri, Ponte Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo at sunset, got a driver to take us to Siena where we saw the duomo (my favorite church ever), San Gimignano where we had Dondoli gelato, and stopped at Pisa on the way to Cinque Terre. What a dream trip. Now you made me want to go back!!!
I was just on a tour in Italy in late May. Florence was beautiful. However, there was a major sporting event when we were there, so it was very crowded. On our second day, we had a tour to San Gagimania, which I truly enjoyed revisiting in your vlog. Wish we had more time with less crowds in Florencia. So beautiful ❤🎉
as italian it's amazing for me to see how you both love my Country , so proud♥ the "perfect" season to visit all the italians major cities are the mid seasons: early spring and fall, not too croudy, beautiful weather and the hotels rates are less expensive :D Pisa and S. Gimignano were lovely the quality of your videos is stunnig, love also seeing the shooting backstage ♥
@@ashleyterepka3091 Let's be honest, it's not the best. Just an example. You could basically remove the whole southern parts and it wouldn't even change that much when it comes to the total GDP. Lombardy alone is like 40% of Italy's economy. And then there's a lot of fascists and such political parties would most probably be illegal in most other European countries such as Germany, Austria etc. Just look at some football clubs in Rome or Mussolinis great greatson and why he even has the surname. And keep in mind that southern Italy's economy is even more broken. Lots of people there have pretty useless jobs from the state itself. We're talking about jobs like calling companies and asking them some basic and useless tax information that the account submits anyway. Or the foresters in Sicily. I think there were more foresters in Sicily only than in whole Canada. Then there's problems with the system of justice. Italy has the longest processes in whole Europe. They're so long that lots of them barred or they had to offer 50% amnesty when accepting jail sentence. Then there's the missing dual citizenship in Trentino for the German- and Ladin-speaking people but Italy is offering Italian citizenship to Istria and basically everyone who had some Italian ancestor a few hundred years ago (yes, I know that Italy is younger than that). Then there's problems with lots of grant fundings like the Superbonus 110, strange laws like the one that new drivers can't drive cars with more than 90 HP. Guess why? Yeah, there's some car company called FIAT. Now young people have to purchase some shit cars without airbags. Fun fact: The drivers exam is done with more than 90 HP and you can drive more than 90 HP while having the foglio rosa which is basically the temporary drivers licence until you get your real one after the exam. Italy is a big mess. Especially in the south where young people can't even tell you 2 English words because the teachers studied French and not English. Yeah, that happened quite often.
Dana that was such a good vlog I thoroughly enjoyed it. You & Al packed so much in to your 4 days & it is wonderful that you shared it with us. Oh my, all that yummy food, gelato, wine & cocktails, good job counteracted by all those 20K+ steps a day. Look forward to seeing you both in Positano :)

Another fantastic vlog, you and Al did a great job! 😊 And looks like you’re having a blast out there. I’m a little jealous of the gelato tbh 😁 it looks delicious.
I’ve been trying to decide if we want to go to Florence next trip or not so thank you for this video! I’m watching this in 2024 and it’s so funny because this is almost my exact itinerary from when I went to Florence in May 2023. I ate at Shake Cafe everyday I was there. Thanx so much for the awesome tips! We didn't know about Gustarium and the original Tuscan panini - mini trattoria called Carnacchio! We'll definitely visit those next time we're in Florence. FYI you visited Florence at a good time, we went there about a month later (end of July) and the people on the streets were at least 4 times more!!! Kudos for the great work, Panos and Mirella, Greece.
We did the same Tuscany in Day tour you did. We loved it. Well worth the money, and I learned how to pronounce San Gimignano . We are headed back to Florence in October. Thanks for the tips.
